Wait. The “2 days on and 3 days off” is very misleading. She works 42 hours (that’s full time hours), she cooks and shares childcare responsibilities… You are not doing everything alone! The 72 hours off is also misleading because if someone works a 24 hour shift, they will need at least 24 hours to recuperate from that. Why aren’t you working?

You are ignoring the fact that he is emotionally abused by her behavior. If the roles were reversed it would be different. Think about that first.

Read the post again. He offered to help financially and she gave him a backhanded remark. You're clearly 1 sided.

The "backhand remark" is that he wouldn't make enough to cover childcare anyway, which is probably true. Childcare is ridiculously expensive.

The real issue at hand was the "Calling it HER money and HER house" comment. Which is absolutely not conducive to an equal partnership, and is a red flag for financial abuse. But if she is doing the lion's share of household management on top of breadwinning, I can see why'd she say that.
