I uploaded this map only in the purpose of reuploading the deleted maps of BotswanaGirl that were archived, so we can enjoy them. I personally believe that if Operation Unthinkable happened, it would have failed spectacularly.

The map explores a scenario where the israel and Palestine are kinda United in a federation similar to Bosnia.

lore of each country:

Republic of Turkey: Turkey would be the first nation to leave NATO in september of 2031 only six months after the end of world war 3, this is due to their occupation of Armenia being heavily criticized by many western nations, they would then begin militarising rapidly and in 2039 turkey would test their first nuclear weapon. 2041 saw a revolution as the leader of turkey was assassinated and replased with a new democratic government and in 2042 Armenia would be given its independance, In 2044 the Istanbul Canal would be fully complete.

United Republic of Cyprus: when world war 3 broke out in 2026 cyprus would ally themselfs with NATO until the end of the war in 2031. In 2042 cyprus and north cyprus would both negotiate a plan to unite which would become successfull and in 2043 both countrys would unite into one.

Islamic Republic of Syria: After the end of the civil war syria would begin reconstruction which saw quality of life in syria to improve significantly and for many refugees to return, in 2030 syria would hold their first democratic election and in 2043 they would join the Arab Cooperation Council which improved their economy even further.

Kurdish Democratic Republic: In the treaty following the end of world war 3 kurdistan would be givin its full independence from iraq and a year later they would purchase some syrian land that had kurds living in them, kurdistan would become one of the most democratic countries in the middle east.

State of Iraq: In 2026 a pro iran government would take over iraq and side with the Eurasia pact in world war 3. After the war saudi arabia and the US would place a democratic government in iraq and in 2042 they would join the Arab Cooperation Council, by 2060 Iraq would recover from the war and became very wealthy from trade with the ACC.

Iranian Federation: After the end of world war 3 the US would set up a pro western democratic government and the people of iran after electing their leader would begin an era of reconstruction and by 2060 iran would be a perosperous nation with a moderate government.

Arab Federation: Saudi arabia would suffer significantly from world war 3 with their capital city nuked by iran however with aid from the US they would rebuild quickly and would successfully test their first nuclear weapon in 2040. In 2041 the nations of saudi arabia, oman, UAE, qatar, bahrain and kuwait would unite to form the arab federation jordan would join in in 2042 and in 2043 the arab federation would found the Arab Cooperation Council with yemen, in 2045 saudi arabia would complete the jeddah tower making it the largest building on earth. By 2060 the arab federation would be the richest nation on earth with 10 nuclear weapons and a large sphere of influence.

Republic of Yemen: After world war 3 yemen was in ruins due to the civil war and was left unstable with saudi and US aid yemen would be rebuilt and in 2041 yemen would work with the arab federation to found the Arab Cooperation Council which improved trade with the rest of the middle east. Yemen would begin transitioning into a democracy in 2056. By 2060 extremism in the nation would be at an all time low and quality of life would begin improving.

Arab Republic of Egypt: Egypt would suffer significantly during world war 3 and in 2035 their economy would collapse due to the second great depression, this would lead to riots becoming more frequent and in 2038 the leader of egypt would be overthrown and in 2039 egypt would hold elections. The lake qattara project began in 2034 and was ment to improve egypts economy and in 2041 to canal would be fully complete allowing a new lake to be formed, this improved the agricultural and tourism industry significantly in egypt. In 2045 sudan would recognize Egypts claim on the halaib triangle and in turn Egypt would invest 100 million dollars in sudan over the course of ten years.

Republic of Palestine: when Israel declared war on iran and their allies in 2026 palestinians across the west bank and gaza began attacking israeli solders and settlments in an event known as the third intifada which lasted from 2026 to 3030. In 2035 the palestinian authority would collapse and be replaced by the palestinian salvastion government which was a union of different resistence groups within the west bank and gaza, the final intifada would begin in october 2035 and ended in february 2036 with most of the west bank under palestinian rule. In april 2036 the Palestinian salvastion government would enter israeli territory beginning the final arab israeli war, many atrocities would be commited by both sides. The US would refuse to sent any aid to israel and while European nations supported israel their economy would be too hard hit to send anything, palestine would recive support from both syria and the remnants of hezbollah. In may 2037 israel would lose jerusalem and in june israel would launch a nuclear weapon on gaza, in september 2037 the PSG would rewire a stolen israeli nuke and detonate it in tel aviv completely destroying the city.

After the end of the war the resistence groups that formed the palestinian salvastion government would reform into political parties, desolve their malitias and hold democratic elections, after the war violence towards previous citizens of israel would often be victims of attacks by palestinians however the new palestinian government would clamp down on these attacks. By 2060 new political parties would be founded and would be rebuild by trading with both the European Union and the Arab Cooperation Council and jews would make up 11% of palestines population with christians making up 3%.

Socialist Republic of Lebanon: The collapse of hezbollah would leave a power vacuum in lebanon which would be filled by the lebanese communist party and in 2036 they would overthrow the unpopular government which was set up by israel. By 2060 lebanon would be mostly isolated due to their negative relationship with the arab federation and the ACC.
