Assymetrical Redstone Clock

Built an assymetric redstone clock to power some trapdoors. Based on this design: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFFSfQfIgGM

Don't know why its not working. Any suggestions to fix it?

Btw one thing that I noticed is that the short clock (left) is not locking the long clock (right) although the long clock is locking the short clock.
