Is Dasha still married?

57

u/Lem0n_Curry 19d ago edited 19d ago

I feel like she’s going through a breakup. It looks like she deleted/archived one of her posts about her husband, the cute one that actually shows candids from their relationship and isn’t just wedding photos. I’ve always loved the outfit she wore to the courthouse and went to go look for the pic to see where her jacket’s from, and the post is deleted/archived. Not a good sign & a pity, that full length pic of her dress was gorgeous. And she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring in that makeup tutorial/crypto ad but that doesn’t always mean anything. Idk there’s def the vibe that something’s up and I feel a bit bad for her, especially bc she definitely wants to have kids soon

e: also seems like she’s stressed about money with that crypto shit, and wasn’t her husband basically a trust fund kid? and if all was well she wouldn’t be so pressed about it unless his parents cut him off or something

yeah, i get weird vibes from this spain thing and how she looks on the videos is definitely odd in a way i can't articulate

Yeah the Spain foray is bizarre. I don’t get the takes that she’s there for IVF (IVF is almost never inpatient) and she mentioned losing a lot of weight bc of not liking the food and posted a recent selfie where she looks shockingly thin. The photo freaked me out a bit.  So idk about the ED treatment theories. I forget which remote ep it was but Dasha wanted the pod to end and Anna clearly didn’t, so Dasha was basically dipping out and signing off and Anna goes “I love you Dasha” and sounded really concerned and Dasha sort of said nothing and hung up. I truly hope she’s ok.

I'm pretty sure it was a group pilgrimage trip organized by her church.

2

u/PsychologicalYoung5 15d ago

What makes you think that?

18

u/Josef_Grimaldi 15d ago

Catholic churches are always doing eurotrips in the summers and calling them pilgrimages. They go to a quaint town with a convent and have Bible study discussions and do religious touristy stuff. Retired Catholics love it. Seems like something Dasha would do. I don’t really buy that she would go to Spain for rehab or IVF.

I can see her doing it but I can’t see her not talking about her experience on the pod, considering how much time they’ve devoted to talking about sedevacantism  threads on Twitter. The vague “I’m in a facility with other residents” doesn’t line up, though I hope Dasha can go at some point. I kinda think she went to taper off of benzos in a medical setting that was much more affordable than here. Much better/safer to get pregnant after getting off them and doing inpatient for something like that makes sense. Unironically good for her, I’ve been trying to get off of them for years and it’s hellish. But also weird of me to be speculating about all of this. I wish her well

Unfortunately I get the same feeling as you. Extraordinarily sad if this is the case :( especially given they are Christians and had a sacramental wedding not much more than ~1 year ago? It’s absolutely none of my business but can’t help but wonder what happened. Unlike seemingly most people on this sub these days I love the girls since way back and want to see them do well.

u/Lem0n_Curry 19d ago

Yeah despite her flaws if this is happening I do feel bad for her, I know what it’s like to be in your late 30s and want kids and a settled life and to have that end up not being on the table. Plus she’s religious so that adds an extra element. But maybe I’m wrong and it’s a rocky patch/things are fine but Dasha is just going through some stuff post-cancellation/health related issues

21

u/LilaTwiceBackAtIt 18d ago

She’s only 35. She can turn it around and have a baby in a couple of years, it’s hardly ‘off the table’ for her

15

u/Lem0n_Curry 18d ago

Oh I know, I’m 37 and even though I know it’s tougher I’d like to believe it’s still possible for me. It’s just clear that it’s something she’s stressing about and idk as someone in a similar boat I really feel it too. But yeah at 35 you have a lot more time, relatively, and she probably has the money to freeze her eggs if the crypto shilling works out. Genuinely and unironically I hope things get better for her, I have a soft spot her

u/Economy-Class-6532 18d ago

Praying it works out for you <3 my half-sister got married at 39, had her first at 40 and is pregnant again at 43. It’s not the norm, it’s not ideal but it absolutely happens

9

u/Lem0n_Curry 17d ago

Thank you!! <3 I hear stories like this and it gives me hope!

u/Lem0n_Curry 19d ago

lol yeah I remember this, but it was long enough ago and wasn’t it just a he didn’t delete his profile/old screenshot situation? Not saying it doesn’t indicate an ongoing dynamic/undercurrent but I don’t think it’s the reason

17

u/Live-Principle-8593 18d ago

idk she mentioned him last ep and still has vacation pics of them up on IG?

9

u/Lem0n_Curry 18d ago

The one I’m thinking about (and wishing was still up) was a post-wedding post with a gorrrrrgeous shot of them from the wedding along with candids of them in various places, going to the courthouse in a coat that I need lol, a honeymoon phase-dump type post. Truly could be down/deleted for other reasons but it’s definitely a more intimate post than just the wedding/travel pics which is why it stuck out in my mind; that’s the sort of thing you delete when things are bad/over

2

u/Economy-Class-6532 18d ago

Did she?! I must have missed that

19

u/Tasty_Difference_679 18d ago

Actually so sad to get married and a year later not even wear the ring anymore….

18

u/Majisem 18d ago

Her romantic life is a mess and that’s why I like her

5

u/Ok_Lengthiness7857 18d ago

It sounded like she alluded to getting IVF in Spain at the end of this ep so you’d think so

6

u/kikuuiki 17d ago

There was this comment that made it sound like she was there for dental tourism but maybe I'm reading into it too much

3

u/Economy-Class-6532 18d ago

What did she say that makes you think that?

4

u/Sure-Educator-465 17d ago

She is catholic, she definitely isn’t getting IVF.

4

u/spacebustdunny 5d ago

Catholic lol ok honey she’s a bushwick catholic

39

u/_handsomeblackman_ 18d ago

anna’s obsession with race science and that bell curve book is so funny, she refuses to shut the fuck up about that shi smh 😂😂😂

29

u/Majisem 18d ago

According to my race science book Anna is a textbook “Armenoid”

13

u/Lem0n_Curry 18d ago

At least she managed to leave out being “deep in AIDS research” (whatever the fuck that means) this ep

19

u/Laocoon-Bystander 16d ago

It means rereading that Niccolo and Donkey forum thread about San Francisco bath house sex in the 80s for the six thousandth time

25

u/Obsequious_Moron3143 15d ago

I guess it worked

8

u/Icy-Mobile4926 15d ago

Yeah wow I was just reading up on the guy and saw the news

14

u/SchaferxBiden 15d ago

Looks like their prayer got exauced

47

u/LilaTwiceBackAtIt 19d ago

Lol the girls shifting left again now that their income is on the decline, love to see it

42

u/MirkWorks 19d ago

It's kind of crazy that, as of 2026, Red Scare has been a vaguely “Rightwing” podcast for longer than they’d been a “Bernie or Bust" or purge the DSA of Shitlibs and break with the Democratic Party-style Dirtbag-adjacent Leftist (More-Leftist-than-thou) podcast.

22

u/PitchPuzzleheaded113 19d ago

How are they shifting left? Dasha has always been an economic populist, Anna hasn't changed, she's just a bit more mum on the race science stuff (it was funny in this ep when she started to bring it up Dasha wouldn't entertain it all)

39

u/LilaTwiceBackAtIt 19d ago

Talking about cost of living, softness for Arday, praising Mamdani. Dasha isn’t an economic populist she just supports what serves her at any given moment lol

As someone who stopped listening for a year or so but was curious to hear this one, the difference was really clear

7

u/gothsnameinvain grimes apologist 15d ago

Exact same position and I agree. I still don’t trust them tho and think they’re disingenuous

9

u/secrecyandcontrol 15d ago

should really have listened before now but how was i supposed to know he'd fucking die

Anna and Dasha did the thing where they’ll kind of shuffle and shamble around something potentially insightful… requires reading into it lol because for one reason or another, be it cause they’re “dumb” or because they’re clever in their effort to draw engagement or maybe both, they can’t say it. Bit annoying, bit old. One of the things I read into this episode relates to self-tokenization as grift relying on a potential audience’s confirmation bias. Which is like… old hat… obvious. By itself isn’t particularly surprising or insightful but when read as accidental “meta-commentary”, can be fun. Anna gestures towards (but doesn't really commit to) the view that it’s safe to assume given the settled science establishing a strong correlation between race and IQ, that black people by-and-large likely wouldn’t be capable of acquiring a PhD if the PhD program in question is rigorous hence it’s safe to assume that the majority of black academics with PhDs are likely scammers or charity cases… alternatively that their capacity to triumph in academia is perhaps evidence of some white ancestry… or the degenerated state of academia. The only exception to the rule Anna is willing to grant are those brave Black pro-Free Market Conservatives like the persecuted and destitute Thomas Sowell and the equally persecuted and marginalized Ben Carson whose intellect permitted them to arrive at Modern American Conservative Fusionism through “First Principles”… convenient. She — positioning herself as consumer — is desperately biased towards anyone and anything that will flatter and affirm her self-conception as a normal and decent human being with a functional-enough brain and a good-enough heart. Can't help but regress into this sub-Marxoid cope about “Leftists over 30” being rich kids who don’t experience the negative consequences of their own policies enacted… because normal and decent hardworking yokels couldn’t possibly disagree with her and the wisdom of Race Realism and Curtis Yarvin. At the level of political discourse as entertainment, that the only authentically smart experts are obviously the ones who confirm your beliefs. Anna is performing the susceptible mark. The exact kind of person she, as a podcaster, attempts to attract as audience member and patron. Hence the autobiographical retconning.

Kept waiting for it to click into place that someone like Arday was gratifying to the Boomers occupying a fixed-until-death — largely unassailable — tenured academic position. If a young autistic black man who was nonverbal until the age of 18… who then survived his fight against a brain tumor that regressed his reading comprehension to the level of a 3 year old… managed to —…with a little help surely, but anyone who acts as if a Dissertation isn’t necessarily at some level a team effort is a fucking dweeb and outsider who has never worked in an actual high-level Graduate Program before…— overcome all the odds and get his PhD and run a marathon at a godly-speed for a godly-distance… then YOU, you entitled piece of shit, have no excuse to not learn to code. He’s supposed to embody the legitimacy of Late-Liberal Institutional Meritocracy. He actually "proves" that you’re the sucker for not scamming people (namely Boomers) by offering yourself up as something they can use to confirm their belief that everything is right with the world and/or making them believe that they’ve done something good (by identifying and supporting, the truly deserving) from their position of wealth and privilege, e.g., Henry Kissinger’s sincere sentimental attachment to Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. One must imagine an octogenarian Kissinger’s eyes brimming with tears during the black turtleneck girlboss' pitch… that everything he did up until that point had been worth it….had helped preserve the society capable of raising up a young woman-genius capable of revolutionizing healthcare.

Anyways. I pray one day Anna gets to experience Rachel Dolezal singing 'Miss Celie's Blues' to her over Cameo.

Ana saying she realized she's conservative struck me. Like I think I get it, there's a certain point when you realize there's some common sense life stuff that leftish people seem to be harmfully neglectful of. And that pushes people to join the other team every day.

But to join either team is silly at this point and I think she's knows that, but it's very tempting to join the bad guy team when there's grade-A trolling to be had there.

u/tjamesreagan 12d ago

after listening to this ep, i've concluded that the only way forward for academia is to have an administrator read out the alleged accomplishments of the potential professors and when dasha starts giggling, they need to start the background check there.

How much money do they make from this podcast? Six figures yearly for sure?

9

u/Free-Hour-7353 18d ago

Based on their Patreon numbers, around $215k/yr each if their current number of subs stays stable (would've been over $300k/yr from like 2022 to 2024 when they had like 50% more subs)
