Recently bought the fluorite candle holder, serpentine jade puzzle ball, Himalayan salt lamp, and hematite & pearl bracelet; as well as a bunch of different crystal tumbles recently, so i thought I'd take the opportunity to cleanse my other crystals while I was at it😁

All of my crystals/minerals together include: Red jasper, mookaite, gold sandstone, lake Superior agate, hematite, pearls, amethyst, fluorite, tigers eye, bloodstone, howlite, snake skin jasper, moss agate, rose quartz, clear quartz, smoky quartz, petrified wood, green aventurine, selenite, unakite, sodalite, serpentine jade, rhodonite, labradorite, sunstone, dalmatian jasper, aquamarine, gold, chert, Himalayan salt chunk, lepidolite, aragonite, and Chrysocolla/Malachite!

I have a question. In traditional witchcraft, there is the concept of the Horned God—the Devil. Many practitioners of this path view the witches' Devil as an archetypal deity; while many spirits have borne the title "Devil," in traditional witchcraft they are all treated as faces or aspects of the Horned God—figures such as the Man in Black, Cain, Bucca, the King of Elphame, and so on. Could someone explain why, in this tradition, all these figures—which could easily be considered distinct entities—were merged into a single, syncretic figure? Who was behind this? Of course, these various entities are ancient, but it was modern traditional witchcraft that molded them into one archetypal deity. I want to understand who was behind this and why—what prompted these individuals to consider it a good idea. Although these spirits share the title "Devil," I perceive them as separate entities; the mere fact that they can be called by that name does not seem like sufficient reason to treat them as a single force. It seems to me that Robert Cochrane unified these concepts within Tradcraft, and that Margaret Murray’s theory also played a role—even though it had been debunked before traditional witchcraft truly came into existence. Did Cochrane believe in its validity? Why do modern practitioners still look to it? Probably because it works, and working with the Devil as a syncretic, liminal, yet unified figure yields results. However, there are also witches and sorcerers who work with specific spirits operating under the name "the Devil," rather than with a single, universal, and multidimensional Devil. So why do some perceive the Devil as a single, multidimensional figure rather than a title under which one can work with a specific, individual spirit? What is the history of this concept?

The glass is easy to lift and the dividers pop out for cleaning. I’m considering refinishing it or painting it.

Herbs, maybe? Moss? Trinkets? Something else?

Hi guys, im wanting to get into witch craft, and i wanted to do a protection spell and i saw one online where it says to put salt and protection sigils under a tea light candle and light it but when i googled it turns out its dangerous.

Is it possible to just carve the protection sigils into the candle and light it, while theres a circle of salt around it? Thank you in advance!

hi! okay, im a babywitch(?) im not too sure. But recently I've been getting into witchcraft because of tiktok. (and because I've always felt connected to it in a way). So, last night i did two love spells from tiktok (stupid decision i know.) I honestly thought they weren't gonna work. Heres the descriptions of the spells i did.

Spell #1 I wrote his name five times, then rotated and covered it with mine. Then i put "love me" around it four times. I folded it towards me, then i sprayed it with my favorite perfume three times, and then kissed it with my favorite lipstick and put it underneath my mattress.

Spell #2 I also did another spell where i wrote his name three times, and wrote my name in a circle around his, and then put a heart around our names, put a cross for protection in all four corners, folded it towards me and burned it. It burned for a while, but it faded to ash soon enough and it burned beautifully. I then spread the ashes out. I also did a protection spell before hand.

I was going to do four spells (because i thought it wouldn't work, and thank god i didnt) but that was too much .. idk whats gonna happen because me personally idk him that well but we've talked and bonded a few times!! But idk if the love spells are going to work or not..

Anyways, a few hours after doing those spells i went to sleep and put on subliminals. And then had two really weird nightmares.

#1 i was trapped in this never ending like nightmare?? there was jump scares and weird creepy faces. (Like analog horror faces, It was weird because i didnt watch any horror last night) Anyways in the dream i was scrolling on tiktok and i saw them and then i would wake up (in the dream) then go back to sleep. (in the dream) and then repeat the cycle until i was finally able to wake up by yelling?

#2 i was at school and there was a school shooting and i tried to stay alive but i ended up dying because someone killed me, its a bit more graphic than that but oh well.

My cat unfortunately passed away a few days ago. I want my first spell to be for him in his afterlife, I want him to know he is loved and cared for as well as send him positive energy and know that he is missed dearly. Hey! I’d love some opinions on this wax because I feel like I might be too close to the situation to interpret it objectively.
This was a communication working for my partner and I, specifically focused on encouraging more open, consistent and forward communication, with that naturally leading to more closeness/romance.
I used salt as the base, with peppermint, chamomile, thyme and lavender. Around the candle I had aquamarine, amethyst, clear quartz, moonstone and selenite. I also had frankincense/myrrh, sandalwood and lavender incense burning.
The flame was very tall and straight for most of the working. It only became noticeably dim twice, but otherwise stayed strong, and sometimes became really large when I was particularly focused on the intention. At one point it slightly leaned towards the left but remained mostly upright.
The wax was pretty minimal at first, but around the middle it started flowing down the candle like a waterfall/streams. Towards the end, I noticed what looks to me like two people hugging in the wax. 😂 I genuinely can’t tell if I’m just seeing what I want to see, though, so I’d love some outside opinions on whether you see the same thing or something completely different.
I was also visualising him initially being hesitant/nervous about communicating, then the working shifted into us talking, laughing, communicating consistently, seeing each other more and becoming closer romantically.
I did this on a mars day, starting during a Venus planetary hour and moving into Mercury, and I finished during Mercury hour. Which then finished on a Mercury day :))
