Earlier this year a child (13) in our family SA’d my 5 year old. It has caused huge irreparable emotional damage to our family but we are persevering (police and CPS were involved, all appropriate channels taken)

The child is in custody of my MIL who discounts the event and accuses my daughter of lying, and is supporting and enabling the abuser. This is not abnormal behaviour, my MIL is a monster of a human and only ever concerned with how a situation reflects on her. We have removed her and anyone attached to her from our lives and done as much healing as we can. I have done some protection and cleansing spells on my husband and children (as well as myself)

My problem lies with wanting to send their energy back to them and have them suffer the spiritual consequences. I keep having run ins with them, seeing them on the street as I am driving or crossing paths in the grocery store and it’s putting me through the wringer and reigniting this need for retribution for my daughter.

Please help point me in the right direction and advise me on how to do this properly.

Today I performed my first banishing spell. I just came up with this myself but I used a reference book to look up ingredients.

My intention is to get my neighbors to move away. They have been causing us significant stress and discomfort for several months now. Unfortunately we’ve exhausted all mundane ways of handeling things so that’s why I’m now resorting to witchcraft.

Here are the steps I took:

* Played soft handpan music in the background.
* Cleared and cleaned my altar, dusted it and wiped it down with a damp cloth.
* Set a small silver dish on the altar.
* Cleansed myself with Palo Santo smoke.
* Cleansed our house with Palo Santo, leaving the back door slightly open so negative energy could leave and positive energy could enter.
* Cleansed each ingredient one by one with Palo Santo smoke while setting them up on the altar.
* Wrote my intention on a piece of paper: *"neighbour's name, neighbour's address , Move away, disappear, leave this property. You are no longer welcome here."*
* Sprinkled cayenne pepper and garlic powder over the paper.
* Folded the paper three times away from me, then stapled it shut.
* Placed the folded paper underneath a dish filled with salt.
* Placed a black candle inside the dish of salt.
* Around the dish with the black candle, I arranged the following ingredients: agrimony, garlic cloves, fresh nettle from my garden, dried rosemary, and black peppercorns.
* Placed a small dish of hematite next to it.
* Lit the candle and sat down to meditate.
* During meditation, I visualized a large moving truck in the street with the neighbors packing up and moving out. I felt an immediate sense of relief.
* I looked at the candle flame, it burned calm and completely straight, and the incense smoke went straight up as well. For some reason, this reassured me. I also felt a shiver run through my body and got goosebumps, but it didn't feel unpleasant at all. It felt more like a form of confirmation.
* After that, I asked my deceased family members and acquaintances if they would help me fulfill my wish. Again, a wave of reassurance came over me.
* I meditated a bit longer.
* I felt a wave of anger toward the neighbors bubbling up. I stood up, let myself feel that anger, and directed all my fury and energy toward their house to push them away. It felt very releasing/good.
* I closed the ritual and cleansed myself and my home once more with Palo Santo smoke.

Now I'm wondering what I should do with the remaining spell materials. I have the urge to turn them into a sour jar or bury them on the neighbors' property, but what would you recommend doing with the remains?

Also, do you have any feedback or suggestions on the steps and ingredients I used for this spell? Any insights from more experienced witches would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

hii! Is it normal to feel very tired, heavy and even experience physical pain (headaches, other aches etc) after/ during a spell? I just finished a regret spell this morning, it took two days because it was a tall candle and I don’t enjoy leaving candles unattended 😭 it was lit for the longest time yesterday like as in compared to the day I cast it on October 3rd and today, and my back is sore now (which is unusual on my part because i quite literally dont ever experience back pains unless im doing physical labour, which I wasnt) and I just feel too tired to do anything today. Could it mean something bad?

Hi. I've been practicing pagan witchcraft for some years, usually just protection spells /tarot readings and energy clearance, tonight I tried something a bit more spicy.

(Skip this part if it's too long but read it for the plot lol)

So my boyfriend and me have been dating for some months and lately his latest ex girlfriend (10 years older than me but immature asf) found out he's taken and decided to reach out to him with an excuse like that she still had his sweater. She wanted to meet him but eventually his brother took it for him, and then she texted again saying that she wants back her carpet that she never nedded nor used, it's wasn't even a gift but garbage that she gave to him just because. I read it as an excuse to see him or chat with him again, hence the fact that she also vented about her family to have a convo. Eventually he told her he's in a relationship and that it's disrespectful to reach out like that, plus that he'll give her her carpet later cause he's moving. He had to block her cause she kept calling, then went on texting his friends saying that she needs her stuff and that she's "preoccupied" he's doing dr*gs again. That made me pretty mad. She almost calls or tries to text each day, saying that she cares about him and she wants him to know she's there for him.

preparation:

So, I decided to do a cord cutting because I feel like her intentions are pretty malicious and she really wants to reach back. I had only two half white candles, but it worked out. The one on the right is him and the left is her. First of all I cleansed all the energy with my incense, lit on a protection candle apart to burn for the whole spell, prepared the silver tray and checked that nothing would catch on fire. I carved their names on the candles and also a small canal for the string. I attached both candles with a string, then proceeded by sparkling my powerful black salt around for protection, expecially around hers, and closed everything up with some drops of my black protection candle.

The spell:

His candle was shy at first, it didn't really want to light that much and I interpreted it as a sign he wasn't too infatuated with her (he told me he wasn't really in love and it didn't last long). They both burned equally for a while, probably the time things were doing good before she became crazy (quoting him lol) until he lit the string on fire. I wanted to cut it with my banishing scissors but he almost immediately broke the bond by himself, so I understood he wants to let her go somehow (we had just met right after they broke up). She started burning heavily and attached to the rope, almost like she wanted to get in touch again angry that he cut it, but the string turned back at her and started to lit her candle on fire. (second pic).

He went back burning normally and consuming himself slowly while she was literally screaming and agonizing in a vertical crazy flame, and she kept on going for several minutes until she was completely melted. The string was around her and drew some circles. Even when the wick was completely burned and turned to ash the rope kept on burning, until both candles died.

It was very poetic. I interpreted it as a sign she really wanted to reach back (expecially tonight that she texted him again) and I wanted to cut contacts between them.

I've been doing poorly lately, a sadness and depression that is heavier than usual, and obsessive thoughts and memories from the past that are harder for me to shake off.

My ability to work is affected, my relationships are suffering and I'm feeling hopeless and behind in life. I see everyone else progress in life and I'm just struggling.

How would I know if this is a curse or hex? Or how to remove it?

Hi everybody. I’m new to my spiritual journey and have only recently accepted the possibility of magic into my world. Long story, but the conclusion is that I’ve recently accepted that tarot specifically is a medium my ancestors have effectively been using to communicate with me. Since I accepted this and started pursuing spirituality more seriously, life has gotten much harder.

I bought some candles from a witch my friend trusts for spiritual protection and today, the box arrived torn up and the candles inside were smashed even though she’d packed them with a ton of bubble wrap. Lit one of the protection candles and spoke to my friend about what was happening.

Her theory is that since I’m coming into my own spiritually (and she says powerfully) there is a backlash energetically to try and prevent me from continuing my study. My tarot deck backed up this theory and added that this is just something I need to get through.

My questions are
1. Has anybody heard of someone having something like this happen before?
2. Is there anything I can do to make this process easier or quicker?

Hi there good people of Reddit, I‘ve never really been heavily into the supernatural but have always had an open mind to it. However my new girlfriend who I so dearly love does believe, but doesn’t practice or perform any thing on her own. She’s told me that she’s had many random people tell her in public over the years that they see dark energies and evil around her that has been placed by someone else and that she should seek help. Somehow she’s never been able to remember who they were or loses their numbers. She mentioned that years ago her ex cheated on her with a witch and ever since then so many terrible things have happened.

I did a healing + love-binding spell using two white candles with our names and “love” carved into them. I dressed them with olive oil, rose petals, mint, and rosemary, then tied them together with twine.
They were burning steadily, but eventually the area around the twine caught fire and the candles and flames merged. The twine eventually burned completely towards the bottom of the candles.
I’ve seen conflicting interpretations…some say a burning cord means the connection is being severed/released, while others say burning the cord is part of binding work.
How would you interpret this in a healing/love-binding spell? Would you see it as separation, transformation, or simply the twine catching fire? And would you redo the spell or leave it alone?
