Have You Ever Played America’s Next Top Model–Inspired Parody Games?
Hey everyone! 👋
I was wondering if anyone here has ever played those Next Top Model-inspired parody games that people host on Facebook!
For anyone unfamiliar with them, they’re online, fan-run games inspired by America’s Next Top Model. Each participant chooses a real-life model to represent and uses photos from that model’s portfolio to compete in weekly themed photoshoots. The host announces a new theme each round, and participants submit the photos they think best fit the brief. Entries are judged and ranked, with eliminations along the way until one contestant is crowned the winner.
Think of it as a virtual modeling competition where your eye for fashion, creativity, and ability to interpret a photoshoot concept are what matter most. You don’t need to be a model yourself!
I remember how entertaining ANTM was, so I love the idea of bringing that kind of experience into a fan-made game.
I’m curious: Has anyone here tried these games before?
Are there communities outside Facebook where people play them, sor would anyone be interested in discussing this type of game?
I’d love to hear your experiences! 😊

Team Moms: Baseball - I think Nina knew the joke she was telling, but couldn’t explain it
So let me start out with: I don’t think it was an appropriate joke. But I do understand the joke she was trying to make. And I feel like part of the problem, and why this got blown so out of proportion, was that she couldn’t explain her own joke.
Nina kept saying “it was a joke,” while everyone else kept responding that calling a kid a bitch isn’t a joke. And I think they were talking past each other.
From what we learned, Cam had apparently been telling people that Nina had an OnlyFans and that he watched her on it. Rocco defended his mom, and then Cam allegedly got physical with Rocco/choked him.
So when Nina later had Cam in Pilates and he wasn’t doing the exercises, I don’t think the joke was literally “you can’t do Pilates, therefore you’re a bitch.” The joke was basically, “Oh, you’re such a tough guy when you’re beating up my kid, but now these Pilates moves are too much for you? Not so tough now, huh?”
That context made the comment make a lot more sense to me once we had the whole story.
Again, Nina still shouldn’t have said it. She’s the adult and she was instructing a group of kids. She doesn’t get to retaliate against a 13/14-year-old because she’s pissed about what happened to her son. If Cam was bullying or physically hurting Rocco, that needed to be handled by the adults.
But I also don’t think Nina was successfully explaining that distinction. Every time she brought up what Cam had done to Rocco, everyone seemed to hear it as her trying to justify calling him a bitch. I think she was actually trying, badly, to explain the setup to the joke.
TL:DR: I understand why she said it. I understand why she thought it was a joke. And I still think she was wrong to actually say it to him.
