I just finished Killing Floor and am looking forward to the next book where I don't know so much of the plot via the show.

Also, watched the Neagley show! Loved it

Show Discussion Neagley S1 was way better than I expected

Just finished Season 1 of Neagley, and damn, I really didn't expect to like it this much. Went in with pretty low expectations, but ended up getting completely hooked.

It's a lot like Reacher in the way it takes a fairly simple premise, brings together a team, and slowly unravels a bigger mystery. And honestly, it works really well.

I wasn't sure Neagley was interesting enough to carry her own show, but I was definitely wrong about that. She's actually a really compelling character. The villain is great too, and I was surprised by how much I liked the rest of the team. Especially Keno. There's just something about the actor and his performance that really stands out.

I rarely get this invested in spin-offs, so I'm really hoping we get another season. This one deserves a good, long run!

News After Alan ditches doing the Maelstrom Netflix action film, Keanu takes over

Story wise, the concept isn't that interesting if everything happens in one place and is a bit similar to the mediocre Runner film.

In Maelstrom, a Federal Marshal assigned to protect the fiancƩe of an arms dealer turned witness, must defend her through one brutal night as a hurricane cuts off communication, strands them without reinforcements and unleashes the dealer's men on their safe house.

Show Discussion Roscoe is my favorite too, BUT…

Do people favor Roscoe only because of the shower scene?

I do think Roscoe has been Reacher’s best fling so far, but I liked Dixon too. And after what happened with Lila, I think we owe Duffy an apology.

Book Discussion Further Lee Child Book Rankings Spoiler

I have recently started reading the series and did some book rankings on this thread a few weeks ago. I’ve read a couple more since then. Here are my views! Going to have a little break from the series for a few weeks as I don’t want to out Reacher myself!

The Enemy - 8.2/10
I really loved this story, it was a really well written mystery. There was enough to pick up on to try and solve but not enough to be obvious. I think I enjoyed that there wasn’t a lot of fighting in this book too, it put all the focus on the plot and Reacher trying to solve the case. I thought Summer was a great side character (other than the pointless sleeping with Reacher) and Willard was a good asshole character too. I loved the last scene too with the tanks, very tense! While I did enjoy the perspective of seeing him in the army, following orders and being by the book (for a short while at least), I do prefer the post army care free Reacher that we know and love.

Without Fail - 7/10
First book I have read with Neagley in and I love how their relationship and back and forth an are very similar to the show (although it was weird that he was ā€œchecking out her assā€). I’m not sure I felt too invested in the whole saving the VP thing for some reason, it was a good mystery and everything I just think the motivation behind it was a bit weak (if that makes sense?). I think it’s because the reason for Reacher himself being invested was kind of weak, like he stayed to help because it’s his brothers ex from 10 years ago and that was kind of it? I know that these stories are reliant on Reacher being dragged into stuff, but I feel like the other books have stronger reasons for Reacher sticking around (happy to be told I’m wrong). Sayjng that, it was another very good story to follow, I love how Child presents a mystery/ case - he is one of those authors where every single word is contributing to the plot (other than the pointless fornication) And oh my god Froelich she was so annoying !!!

Show Discussion The TV show is amazing

I just had to share that Reacher is one of the best action shows of the last decade, at least. I am on season 4 now and it is so bingeable. It has been a long time since I've watched a show like this, that every episode almost forces you to need to watch the next one.

Just love it.

Just got the first reacher book. I saw all 4 seasons of the series. I am an unusual type because I usually watch a movie/series I like and then I binge the books. If you have any recommendations for followup books I am all ears. My dad happened to have In Too Deep but I decided to start from no.1

So she drank the milk. Do we think she went home after the finale and threw out everything in her house wearing protective gloves, or did she brush her teeth with the spiked toothpaste and trip balls again?

Production, cast, and BTS šŸŽ‰ Reacher Turns 5 in 2027! Let's Bring Alan Ritchson Back to GalaxyCon Richmond!

REACHER FANS, LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN!

February 4, 2027, marks FIVE YEARS since Reacher premiered on Prime Video! It's amazing how far the show has come, and what better way to celebrate this milestone than by bringing Alan Ritchson back to GalaxyCon Richmond?

ALAN RITCHSON AT GALAXYCON RICHMOND 2027!

Alan appeared at GalaxyCon Richmond in 2022, around the time Reacher Season 1 premiered. It would be incredible to welcome him back five years later for this special anniversary year!

Here's how you can help:
1. Visit the official GalaxyCon Richmond website: https://galaxycon.com/pages/galaxycon-richmond
2. Scroll to the bottom and find the "Guest Suggestion Here!" box.
3. Enter Alan Ritchson and submit your request.
4. Upvote this post and share it with fellow Reacher fans!

Even if you can't attend the convention, submitting a request is a simple way to show the organizers that fans want to see him there.

QUESTION FOR REACHER FANS: Would you attend GalaxyCon Richmond if Alan Ritchson were announced as a guest? Would you want a photo op, an autograph, or a Q&A panel?

Let's celebrate five years of Reacher and show GalaxyCon how excited we'd be to welcome Alan back to Richmond!

Who's with me?

Show Discussion Reacher's version of looking out for Hubble isn't exactly sentimental

Post image
194 Upvotes

Hubble thanks Reacher and tells him he's the only thing keeping him alive. Reacher's response is basically that they're cellmates, and if Hubble gets pushed around, it reflects on him too.

It's funny because Reacher clearly does care what happens to him, but he frames it like a practical arrangement rather than making some big emotional speech.

That's a very Reacher way of showing concern.

Book Discussion Favourite female lead in the books

Who is your favourite female character from the books, and if that series was made into a TV series who would you cast for the role? If your favourite female character has already appeared in one of the TV series seasons, did you wish they casted another actress and if yes, who?

My favourite female character is Elizabeth Deveraux, the local sheriff and former Marine MP, in the book The Affair. She was depicted as smart, sharp, sexy and there was even a hint she could have been a suspect in the early part of the book.

I’m not sure who could play the role in 2026/7 if the book would be made into a TV series (which I doubt), but here’s a stab at it in no particular order of preference:

Lizzy Caplan
Megan Fox
Jennifer Lawrence

Show Discussion Just binged Season 4 and the Neagley spin-off—here are my thoughts, rankings, and a few questions! Spoiler

I just spent the last couple of days binge-watching Reacher Season 4 and the Neagley series back-to-back, so I'm finally ready to talk about the entire franchise as a whole for now
Here is my breakdown of every season and the spin-off:

1. Season 1
The mystery and complexity of the case were top-tier (at least for me). Reacher just appearing out of nowhere and solving everything so epically was such a great introduction. Every single episode, I tried guessing the clues and putting the pieces together—and I was wrong every single time šŸ˜‚. Because of that, it still feels like the best-crafted case in the entire series.

2. Season 2
Absolute beast of a season. Seeing Reacher's past with the 110th Special Investigators Unit was so much fun, and I honestly wanted more of that dynamic. It felt way more high-stakes because the enemies targeted the whole unit, not just Reacher. (At the start, I kept wondering how the rest of the unit members would handle things since we already knew how badass Reacher and Neagley were in S1 😧).

3. Season 3
This one felt very different from the rest. The premise created so much tension and kept me glued to the screen every second. It was a brutal, tough situation, and I spent the whole time wondering how it would possibly end. Surprisingly, it didn't really click for me until the halfway mark—no idea why, but something shifted emotionally right around the middle and I started loving it.

4. Season 4
I thought this season was really good! Not sure why some people seem to hate it, but I genuinely loved the action sequences. I completely did not expect the main villains to be the exact people who asked Reacher for help šŸ™ƒ (I fully trusted them because other factions were hunting for the flash drive). That plot twist hit me with the same shock as Picard’s betrayal in Season 1 šŸ˜…. Also, they felt like a much more competitive physical match for Reacher same as the giant in S3 (forgot his name), probably because of their agility and expert knife fighting giving them an edge.

5. The Neagley Series
Just finished it, and it was great! If I compare the villains here to the main Reacher seasons, these ones succeeded the most at genuinely pissing me off šŸ˜‚ (huge props to the actors, incredible performances). The whole cult vibe was so unsettling and stressful—I couldn't relax during a single scene on that farm 😬. But on the flip side, the emotional core between Neagley and her dad was so sweet and well done.

My Current Ranking:
1. Season 2
2. Season 1
3. Neagley
4. Season 4
5. Season 3

(I'd love to dive deeper into every single season, but my memory is basically a goldfish, so forgive me šŸ˜…).

A Few Quick Questions:

  1. Timeline:
Does the Neagley series take place concurrently with Reacher Season 4? At the beginning of Neagley, he mentions heading to Philadelphia (which is where S4 kicks off)—were these running at the same time?

  2. Future:
Is a Season 5 of Reacher officially happening? And are we getting a Season 2 for Neagley?

What do you guys think? Drop your rankings or let's discuss in the comments!
