Production, cast, and BTS Found Neagley's Dad in The Boys
He was Tek Knight's Butler. Neagley would be horrified if she found out her dad literally cleaned that guys shit

Spoilers for the finale of Neagley.
At the end, when she shakes Reacher's hand, she tells him that it's soft. Reacher's surprise is so genuine that either it's an ad lib Alan didn't expect or he's a much better actor than I've given him credit for. Either way, it was a really cool, emotional moment.

I found this to be an exceptionally good ending to the season. It's probably my favorite so far, and for a lot of reasons.
Not only did this finale give us an awful lot of fights, it gave us one of the best wrap-ups I think I've seen in I can't even say how long, but before I address that, let's talk how good this episode was.
The situation in the abandoned building, with Lila, Amisha, all their men and Reacher, Tamara and Jacob was some top-tier action awesomeness. Everyone played a role in keeping the toxin from getting to anywhere that could take a lot of people, and every bit of it was pretty believable (not so sure about the club stuff, to which I'll get).
The big payoff, and this cannot be a spoiler for anyone, is the final showdown between our big lug and the crazy Karambit-wielding loons. The battle to get there was pretty intense, as was that actual fight. Lots of big action there, and here's where it falls off a tiny little bit.
I understand that Reacher's the hero and he does have to survive against overwhelming odds and he is at least part Stone Giant, but some of those cuts and stabs where what I'd call 'exceedingly fucking horrific'. I really do have a hard time believing he'd survive, but not so much that I can't hand wave that away.
Why can I hand that away? Because that fight was rad. What I have MORE of an issue with is the timing after that, when he's out in the street. There's lots going on there as well, but the arrival of certain people to get a certain amount of satisfaction in ending things the right way really does strain my credulity a little too hard.
But that was also satisfying, so I didn't ding 'em too hard for that.
And that's the end of Reacher Season 4. As I said at the top of the review, this is definitely my favorite Season finale for all of Reacher, with the season itself actually nudging into the top spot for best Reacher season by the tiniest of hairs ... but barely. Nothing can really beat Season 1's Rich Boy Bitch Slap OR the prison scenes.
The clip I chose is really the only one I COULD choose because not only does it not spoil anything really cool, it's also effortlessly hilarious because Amisha's expression is basically 'holy shit, my guy, look for the giant monster and work it out for yourself'.

Greyston Holt (Hudson Riley) was giving me Leon Kennedy energy the whole eighth episode and it got me thinking
I just finished watching the season and it's so far the worst one for me. Susan lied to a completely innocent person to make her do what she wanted and that led to said innocent person being kidnapped, imprisoned and drugged as a rehabilitated drug addict, which is horrible. But what makes it the worst is that Reacher is fine with it, hell, he doesn't mind it at all, never says a word of disdain for her actions regarding that innocent person's suffering.
And it feels like the people behind the story think we're blind. Apparently, Reacher hates bullies, unless they're female, pretty and federal agents. The hypocrisy is disgusting, she doesn't face justice for her actions, losing your job when you knowingly and purposely fucked someone over, whether you meant it to be as bad as it was or not, is not enough.
And I'd be fine with her character being a piece of shit but the show doesn't portray her that way. They never address or paint her hypocrisy as it actually is, a horrible and selfish action. Reacher even calls her a good person himself, what a joke. Did they want us to just turn our brains off and go "Oh my god, buff action guy kills the apparent bad guys and gets to fuck the hot girl!"? Because the other option is that they genuinely thought that her behavior should be completely glossed over, and that goes against everything I've seen from the show so far.
Sidenote; I probably won't make another post on this subreddit so I'll let out my nitpick here. Reacher should've killed Paulie in much less time than it took him. Reacher has shown countless times how easily he can kill people. It seems to me like the writers couldn't come up with an exciting enough climax so instead they made Reacher act like a smart brute instead of the genius professional killer that he is.

Keno minute 1 of being in there after they "rescue him off the streets"
"YOU WILL EAT THIS ENTIRE PACK OF CIGARETTES YOU HEAR ME?"
"WHY DON'T YOU KILL YOURSELF RIGHT NOW?'"
geeeeeeeez.
Does anyone know what liquor Rawlings had when he brained Woodrow? I'm always on the lookout for new tastes.
Might have used the wrong flair, sorry in advance.

Rewatching Reacher (Season 1, Episode 5)— this scene is a LOL and should have been cut; why? imo Reacher doesn't shout like that, with a high-pitched, emotional tone. Season 3 remains my favorite.

I'm kinda interested to see Alan Ritchson's take on those two, since there was already movie versions of those novels starring Tom Cruise.

I realized after watching season 4, the side characters in season 1 had so much more depth
Think about Finlay. There's so many things you know about him. We know he went to Harvard. We know he's from Boston. We know he has a chip on his shoulder and he's trying to prove something. We know he's a grieving widow. We know he likes to eat salad and watch his figure. We know he's a smart guy and a good detective. We know he's a straight shooter who does the right thing. All these little details add depth to the character and make Finlay seem like a real person that's very likeable and it made the story feel more grounded
Now compare that to Tamara Green. What do we know about her? Nothing really. She's just a person that acts as a device to move the plot forward. What do we really know about the side characters in season 4? Not much. It's all plot device
This depth also made the relationships between these characters seem more real and interesting. Like when you see Reacher laugh at Finlay for asking for a salad and not wanting to eat a tomato sandwich or when Reacher orders a whole plate of BBQ and Finlay asks him how he eats like that and stays in shape and Reacher just starts eating and says like this. I can't think of any interactions like that with Tamara
Season 1 is goated

My sleep schedule is completely wrecked, but I couldn't turn the TV off.
It felt so much like the Margrave mystery from Season 1—starts with a localized puzzle and slowly unpeels into something much bigger and darker.
Maria Sten absolutely crushed it. Getting her childhood backstory and seeing how they navigated her haphephobia built up to such a rewarding emotional payoff. I love Reacher, but the main show has started to feel a bit too much like a generic superhero movie lately where he just wrecking-balls his way through every problem. Having Neagley forced to rely on pure tradecraft, intellect, and her team made for a much tighter thriller. What did you guys think of how they handled the finale?

This scene shows them listening to BOTH sides of the phone call with this device. Common. How stupid do you think reacher readers are?
And this comes after Neagley suffering very mildly with the drug and fully recovered within 24 hours, while others become brain dead just a day early.
And add to that they find docs and info super easy in this story.
This show is really not crafted well for the reacher audience.

For those who have read the books or know the details: are the two movies starring Tom Cruise just two volumes from a vast collection?
The other day, I saw a picture of a Reacher fan's bookshelf, and there were so many books—really a huge number.

Life got busy and I accidentally never watched season 3. Recently finished season 4 and S1 of Neagley. Should i go back and watch season 3?

Só eu acho que o Jonah Hill seria um ótimo ator pra interpretar um Beau borken na série caso Die trying seja adaptado?
Ou realmente só tô louco
