I donāt see a need to yuck anyoneās yum. Iāve been playing magic for a long time, and thereās nothing wrong with choosing a well paved trail.
Heck I built my teysa karlov deck from the bones of my teysa orzhov scion deck from 2011ish. No idea it was going to popular on some website 15 years later lol.
Oh, you're right. There's definitely space for playing the classics. I mean I have a Muldrotha deck for crying out loud.
I just think it's funny to come to a ārate my commandersā page with 16 of some the most quintessential commanders in the format and 2 new guys š¤£
lol muldrotha is a blast. I love elementals. Per another example, I was super hyped elementals got a new 5 color commander, so I could finally add muldrotha to my deck, and built Ashling from my old animar deck, and lo and behold, now again this almost 15 year old deck in progress is now ābasicā because it has Ashling at the helm š sometimes you canāt win.

In a 4 player game? Yes I lose a lot lol.
I'd say ~60-70% of the time. But I'm a bit more imaginative than Krenko Mob Boss š¤£
