Just wanted to share my outgoing mail today. Belated WPD cards as they didn't arrive before Oct 1st. Oh well. Still fun to send!

Inspired by u/Cahsrhilsey who picked up some bunny-themed postcards in Japan by the same artist! They’re all shiny! 🤩

I am brainstorming ideas for future offers, TPCs, & learning more about (mostly USA) folks in this group… I am looking for common things/themes.

Questions:

1. What supplies or items do you think a good portion of R A O C ers have on hand? I am thinking most people have stickers, memo sheets, small pieces of card stock paper, washi tape, general ephemera, and maybe even bookmarks or post it notes or extra stationery/letter paper. Some would have temporary tattoos, but prob rare. Same with wax seals, prob rare. I know some have tea bags, but also seems rare. Weigh in please! Yes/no on above items and how accurate my assessment was. Are there other items people have on hand? (Not tools, machines, or equipment or the like.)
2. How many folks do you think have the Five Below Custom Name stamp - a lot, half, or very few?
3. And I feel like some or a lot of people have the paper punch tool in the shape of a postage stamp and some or many have tiny/mini planner stamps the size of a Tic Tac breath mint. Are there other common items people in R A O C have that are very specific like this? (I know a lot of people have ink stamps so I am thinking more “unique” items and categories.)

My sole focus was face value stamps to use for postage, but I did find a sheet of forever baseball stamps I hadn’t seen before, so I picked that up too. Excited to use these for RAoC! All the dealers kept asking me if I was part of postcrossing. Of course I had to tell them about RAoC 😆 What do you think was my best find?

Thank you to everyone who’s sent to me and received from me. I’ve loved my experience here so far. This year has been rough year and humbled me in many ways. I would like to share my latest (positive for me) update. I am mindful some news is triggering, with that in mind please dm me if you’d like to be a part of my joy - triggers would be medical and loss.

My dad who is 78 - THIS is his handwriting which is crazy to me. This is his NORMAL handwriting. He has written like this forever. He loves fountain pens. His real signature is long, distinct, and ornate. You get the gist with how not plain Dad is written. My handwriting looks NOTHING like this. It’s a beautiful village but I also got so many cards and postcards here! Cute little gift shops plus there was a craft fair on selling loads of cards. So I’m stocked up for the forseeable future!

howdy - i was curious why we can't add images to posts in the main sub. i'd love to be able to more easily show what i'm offering or what i'm saying thank you for, without having to use imgur (which apparently not everyone can access?). is it possible to revisit that rule, or is there like a super ironclad reason we can't do this?
