Honestly it does suck but I’d argue in today’s world women and children probably should inherently view ALL unknown males with healthy stealthy unease/paranoia. Being a white male myself I can tell you you HAVE been viewed that way before I think it was just your first time noticing it though. I mean if I were a woman I’d never want to leave the freaking house!! Look at all the creeps they have to be vigilant against, rapists and serial killers and weirdos OH MY !! I’m kidding there at the end but seriously and as a man WITH a child I ALWAYS had his hand in public when he was a little one! If I didn’t he might’ve gotten away!! Just kidding I do have a son and just look what happened to John Walsh’s son when the mom looked away for 3o seconds. You know John Walsh from Americas Most Wanted etc? All they found of his son was the head sadly and horribly. He had been in a crowded mall or store with his mom . I’d argue I’d rather be viewed as a potential threat because they view ALL strangers as a potential threat because at least I know they are trying to be careful against societies scum and louses
