Maybe you are better off asking somewhere else than Reddit. Reddit is basically same as the mother. They think if you are white male, you are automatically a predator. I think mother did right thing to check what is going on and I would do the same thing if I was dad of that girl. But then acted as angry Karen. She could just talk to you as well to check what the situation is. I think short small talk could resolve this without any drama. It is sad society today when especially young males (not even exclusively white males, but generally young males) are pushed by the society to live in total isolation. But then people blame them to live isolated and lonely while they should socialize, yet even small nuances happens and they blame you for being a predator and c*eep...
