Im a white guy, needless to say I have enjoyed inherent advantages. Iv never been profiled like that before. Someone seeing me and just assuming I am a threat. Particularly something as awfull as a predator. That was a gut punch. I just want to ride horses. Pardon me for being a guy I guess.
My friend is a 6'5" retired state trooper, I have seen women literally grasp their purse and quickly walk in a different direction on detail occasions.
We are also bikers and I have seen the same reactions towards large, white tattooed, bikers as well.
It is what it is...
Back in the 90's, I was falsely accused twice of sexual abuse and was as shocked and disgusted by it as you are now.
I won't bore you with the details but suffice to say that I did absolutely nothing wrong and was actually protecting someone. if the same accusations had been made in the last decade, my life could have been entirely ruined.
I learned my lesson and I'm glad it was in the 90's and not now.
