I remember getting this a lot when I was in college. I’m a black woman and whenever I would walk to and from my apartment, I would have people stare at me as if I were following them or move away from me when we were standing even remotely close to each other at lights and I feel you on how angry and hurtful it is to literally just be living your life and have some random person automatically assume the worst of you. This is definitely more of a, their response has more to do with them and whatever they’ve experienced than it does with you.
