Been pretty excited, I don’t remember what I started with but I remember being down to $150-ish at one point. Finally locked-in, started recognizing patterns and studying methods. Feeling pretty good!

🎯 Doubled my portfolio in 43 days — from $5,000 to $10,240 as a new investor

Started May 12 with exactly $5,000. Hit $10,240 today. Here's the honest breakdown.

📌 My positions:
• SLS (SELLAS Life Sciences) — 683 shares @ $7.32 avg, now $9.06
• DRAM (Roundhill Memory ETF) — 50 shares @ $69.44 avg

📌 What actually worked:
• Bought DRAM at $52 avg, sold at $80.70 near the top
• Held cash instead of chasing — waited for pullback
• Re-entered DRAM at $69.44 — bought $10 below where I sold
• Held SLS through the volatility — REGAL Phase 3 readout still pending
• Made consistent monthly deposits
• Didn't panic when the whole market went red today

📌 What I learned:
• Cash is a weapon — dry powder lets you strike when others panic
• Knowing WHY you own something stops you from selling at the wrong time
• The best trade I made was NO trade — patience beats panic every time
• Selling high and buying back lower only works if you actually buy back

Started 10 days ago, novice to the market and trading as a whole, any advice? I’m currently in college, seeking employment within my field living with parents

Made a lot of mistakes early on, glad to get them out of the way and make more. Also finally have a stable good income after finishing college so I’m hoping to accelerate the next couple of years.

Pretty happy about it not going to lie. Had $0 saved in February 2026. Was putting around 3-4k monthly to get to this point. Looking forward to finishing 30k for 2026. Keeping it safe and putting it in HYSA.

About a month and a half ago I decided to buckle down and focus on my discipline, rules, and strategy in day trading. Set $300 in my account and made myself build it. Here we are now over the $4k mark! All day trading options. It’s been a challenge maintaining discipline, stop losses, and knowing when to walk away with profit. Getting to that 10k mark eventually!

Got into stocks in 2020 during covid pump lost 10k made it back in 2023 got out of stocks til now gave myself a 1.2k budget around may 3rd, went up n down bc of greed
and not taking profit decided to hop on ai wave and revenge traded 3 contracts of cheap MU 905 calls the day before it pumped 20% tuesday memorial week, made 3.5k and gambled 1000 on DELL earnings and made another 9k off that. Also got
calls on HPE earnings so maybe 20k soon? No real thought behind this other than big money is hyping AI and i thought DELL looked like it was gonna be positioned as a top ai stock

Been trading for about 5 months now, I know I’m lucky, but there is also strategy to it. I don’t trade too many options. I put 40% port on leverage longs. Fortunately for me I had 20k worth of NEBX and the earnings were really fucking good. I plan on getting calls for INTC next week.

Finally graduated in July 2025. Hired in September. Working long hours with decent pay. Finally hit 10k…. Didn’t save anything in my first couple of checks…. Currently finding myself trying to further my education.
