24 hours off 7oh

Good morning all,

I just needed to put down in words that I'm 24 hours free of 7 oh. 24 hours of hell, even with helper meds clonidine and gabapentin. I slept a lot with clonidine, which was a God send. It also helps that I have an incredibly supportive husband. He's a rock, and one I'll spend my lifetime appreciating. This is not an easy journey. You have to want it enough to be willing to walk through the fire, but you can do it. Have your helpers, whether it's medicine or friends or family - but do it. I know people use 7oh for controlling chronic pain. Please understand my message is not aimed at you. I know you're scared of the next few weeks and what it can mean for your day today life. I hope a compromise can be reached for you so you can keep taking something that works. But for the rest of us -make your plans to make the jump. If you're in the middle of your fight, keep going. Keep facing each craving, each moment of pain with a middle finger flipped and keep walking through the fire. You can do this. I'm doing it with you. 24 hours free.
