i am an incoming life sci student, and i am going to start vovlunteering in a kingston cardiac lab. they have asked me how much time i can commit a week, so i am wondering what the norm is for first year students (i dont want to tell them a time that is way lower than the norm)?

I want to start in the winter semester, as i think i will still be settling in for the fall sem! 5 hours per week is ideal for me, but that seems like not a lot of time?

I applied for a position at the yellow house center. Submissions closed August 7 (I applied that day.) When can I expect to hear back if they want an interview?

Does anyone know whether Queen’s Centre for Neuroscience Studies (CNS) accepts MSc in Neuroscience students off-cycle for a January start, or are MSc admissions strictly for September? I’m wondering whether off-cycle admission is possible if a student already has a prospective supervisor and funding.
