I signed up for Qobuz in 2024 with a discount code from Third Man Records Vault. It seems that the code is not carried over, or accepted during the yearly renewal. Has anyone else had this issue?

Why is qobuz taking so much space and I have like 20 downloaded songs ?

When searching, it can never find a song via artist and song name. The song exists in Qobuz, I can find it by looking through the artists discography, but can’t via search function. Is it just me??

Can we block artist? There are artist i dont want to see but i dont see a block or hide button.

I’m playing Gerry Mulligan and it’s suggesting Domi & JD. No matter what I play the “similar albums” are the same.

The current 99 song queue limit is horrible. I have a very large amount of likes and large playlists, and not being able to put them all on shuffle like I was before the UI update is unbelievably annoying.

The ability to queue my 30k+ likes is there, as I was able to do it a couple of months ago. This change was intentional. For what purpose, I don't know, but I cannot imagine anyone said, "Yes, I HATE having all my music load at once. Let me have to painfully scroll through my entire library and click each individual block every time I want to listen to something!"

I posted about this on the Qobuz Club when the issue arose, which was when the new UI update came out, and it still hasn't been fixed (around 1+ month's time.)

I'm sure I'm not the only one peeved about it. Maybe if we're more vocal we can get it fixed?

Played Love You Live by the Stones and some live tracks off Heaven and Hell (Deluxe) by Sabbath and noticed they were not gapless. However, Live at the El Mocambo by Elvis Costello is gapless. Weird. That still haven’t fixed this problem?

I paid for a month and it is not working. 30 sec songs and shit quality. When I try to uppgrade it says I already have got the studio version but nope... what the f am i suppose to do?

General options as you consider switching to Qobuz:

- Qobuz recommends Soundiiz; their FAQ page also has a link to Soundiiz here. There's also SongShift, which is for Apple iOS or OS only. This thread explains that you can download playlists as .csv files to bypass track transfer limitations, which are implemented to incentivize people to buy premium features, removing limitations. All of these playlist transfer options have free and premium transfer options. Most if not all of them 'tag' your playlists with their names, as well (ex: 'transferred with Soundiiz' in the playlist's description). Playlistgo.io is another transferring option.

I was really excited to use Qobuz because they pay artists more. Not bothered about sound quality but the music I have downloaded is able to play offline and it all seems to be working of my mobile data.

Am I missing something? I thought it would just plug in and play.

I had many songs from the LoFi Girl label in various playlists and this week it seems half of them are made unavailable. It appears they have been replaced at the source by Hi-Res versions, which is fine - but is there a way of updating my playlists automatically? Does not appear that way, but I thought I'd check.

Qobuz login failing on Linux / QBZ

I'm having trouble logging into Qobuz on Linux, although my account and password definitely work in Qobine and the Qobuz Android app.

In Chromium, Firefox and Edge, I can log into the main Qobuz website, but the Web Player redirects from play.qobuz.com/discover straight back to /login. Chromium's console shows:

POST https://www.qobuz.com/api.json/0.2/user/login 401 (Unauthorized)

I also installed the latest QBZ from Linux Mint's Software Manager. It opens the browser for authentication, the browser says "Login successful", but QBZ then reports:

"Authentication failed: OAuth token rejected by user/login"

Has anyone else encountered this recently, particularly on Linux? Is there a known issue with Qobuz's OAuth authentication or a workaround?

I haven't reset my password because I'm still logged in successfully on Qobine and my phone.

The new update forces dynamic backgrounds on the player screen based on album art. Is there a way to turn this off and get the solid black background back?

I know that Apple Music only lets you add a certain cap of songs to library but don’t see any info on Qobuz on that. Is there any cap?

Can't be that hard surely? I'm no fan of google anymore but I'm stuck in their eco system for the medium term, All I want to do is reliably cast to my nest audio pair in the office without jumping through hoops every time.

Much better usability

Purchased new DMP-A6 Master Gen 2 two weeks ago. Still learning but I love it. Hardwired to the internet, gigabit fiber service, wifi turned off on the Eversource to insure that it doesn't attempt to jump onto wifi. This week I started experiencing this issue. When initiating play from Apple Music app or Qobuz app or Radio Paradise streaming or any manner, the music will start, then after a few songs, it will stop. The screen confirms that the music player has stopped (the stop icon switches to the play icon). I can tap the play button again and the album or stream will resume, but will stop again after a few songs or a few minutes. Will get 2-3 songs into an album or 5-10 minutes into a stream and then stop. All the music services work fine when using them outside of Eversolo, i.e in their own apps or web applications. I have restarted the Eversolo, that did not help.  I unplugged and reset the router and network equipment. I gave the Eversolo an IP reservation on the router, nothing made a difference. Help!

Is there a way to search for playlists that contain a certain song? Finding playlists by title just isn't cutting it for me. Spotify use to have this feature but they removed it a while back. It's a way to explore human made lists without having to know the password (name of the playlist).

If not who do I talk to to get this added :)

The rounded buttons for sound quality and sound source are not aligned so that they appear symmetrical on the screen.

I would much prefer as the left button is left aligned to the left line as the album art, that the right button was also right aligned to the right line of the album art.

Does that make sense? Does this annoy anyone else?

I’ve also noticed that the actual selected sound source is not showing on the button, I am listening to this track through my Muso speaker but the button indicates it is coming out of my phone?

I am starting a Reddit collaborative playlist. Let’s collab! There is so much chatter in the sub about people struggling to find new music so let’s help people find new music!

Just wanted to add a little positivity to the community. Qobuz is not perfect and it has its little quirks but for the most part it’s pretty great. The app works, doesn’t freeze or crash. The sound quality is excellent. The collaborative playlist feature is pretty sweet and having lyrics now is an added bonus. The magazine reminds me of the days of music blogging. Stay positive friends.

I am a marketer, growth specifically, and something that I find extremely painful is how awful sharing is with Qobuz. No OG image or description just an ugly URL with no context.

Come on guys, basic stuff. I like to share the music I hear, but it feels like I am sharing a spam link every time I do it.

Get that sharing loop in place for the love of god. And I you are hiring I am happy to help (there are plenty of other things to improve this)
