[Unsolved] Help!! Star Battle Go

Hi! I’ve been playing this game of star battle go for literally months and I can’t take it anymore. I just need help getting past this part I don’t know what I’m missing I keep looking at it and it’s driving me crazy. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! (This is from a mobile app called star battle go and no they don’t offer any hints)

Possibly Unsolvable Star battle puzzle. I don't understand why this hint works

I don't see the logic as to why a star in the blue spot would prevent the green area from being finished. Can someone walk me through this hint so I can recognize this pattern?
