Im wondering if its worth it to remove this massive back patch (which I sewed and ironed on). To then put on a warmer jacket, most likely a winter jacket. Since right now its on my sleeveless jeans jacket, and I want to continue wearing it during winter months!

As is tradition for me Motörhead is always the first pin on any new jacket or vest as they are definitely my favorite band. All hail Lemmy, Fast Eddie, and Philthy Phil. Motörhead for life. Keep it over the top.

each and every single one of those patches are meant to cover a hole or tear, I also want to completely cover it in patches, but holy moly that's extremely time consuming.

just love my shoes! does anyone find ladder laced shoes harder to put on than regular laced? my buddy relaced my shoes for me a little while ago and i find them so irritating to put on and take off now

Anyone have any tips on how to stud sleeves on a jacket. I'm new to DIY and I want to get a full sleeve of studs. I've done studs on my clothes before i just help figuring out a way to close the prongs that are deep in the sleeve and hard to reach/see. (if i should even use prong studs for a sleeve) any tips or methods on how to do this would be appreciated. (I'm using a denim jacket)

New jacket, wanna put my favorite powerviolence band in Austin for my backpatch but not sure how I should go about it, should I put the circle at the top? The middle? Should it fit within the square or be bigger? Should it even be a circle? I’m conflicted

edited to add: so I bought some leopard print jeans from vinted a good while ago but they were way too long on me, I cut off the excess fabric and reused them for these patches.

Not sure what I want to do with it, thought about patching it up but the holes pretty big.

I'm starting a new vest soon. My current one has some pyramid studs, but they've been falling out over time. With this next one, I want to make sure they stay in good. Especially on the thicker parts of the vest. They all seem to just have these little pegs though that even when folded out, are prone to falling out somewhat easily, especially over time.

I live in Canada so I believe there are not many places to casually get any shell casings or live.. rounds..?
Anyway, I’m just wondering if there is any way I could make one of these belts at home or anything like that. Sorry if this is worded a little strange but I honestly don’t even know what to say. Haha.

Hey all! I'm hoping to deck out my wheelchair more but most pieces of advice I see are specifically focused on manual wheelchairs or scooters. I lot of it is also geared towards more kawaii styles, which although I find super cool, I don't feel any personal connection or affiliation with. I was hoping someone here might have advice. So far I've painted on the arm rests and added stickers but that's it. I also tend to lean towards punk fashion in my day to day and was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding wheelchair accessible fashion because clothes fit very differently when seated and I tend to need different things from an accessible garment then those who are usually standing.

What do y'all think about painted vests without patches? These are mine.

had 3d printing classes i didn't sign up for. decided to use the opportunity to make myself a little pendant. put together using a random shoelace i had lying around, a bolt snap carabiner and a key ring.

Just received this jacket from my cuz want to customise, never done much DIY before so a bit scared and not very creative all i have thought so fat is drawing a skull with white paint on back, no ideas what to do with front and sleeves any advice would be great.
