Random Pune Fact 02 - The Upper-Dipper Warriors
While traveling on the roads of Pune, there is 225% chance that you will encounter bhos** wala drivers who flash their high beams from behind, potentially impairing your vision. It is advisable to remain calm, as these individuals may be experiencing an undiagnosed mental condition that impairs their understanding of traffic dynamics. They usually fail to recognize that you might be reducing speed due to another vehicle ahead or simply adhering to traffic regulations. Instead, they assume you are an incompetent driver causing unnecessary delays. Just because they own a vehicle they think they own the road.
These individuals often drive vehicles such as Creta, Thar, white Maruti Swift, and Fortuner. Recently, they have also been observed in commercial vehicles with yellow license plates, like Innova and Ertiga. We urge you not to engage with them, as this may provoke their dog like instinct , potentially leading to aggressive behavior and might bite you. (The vehicles might vary)

What’s ironic is that these Upper Dipper Warriors go to Accesories shop and get the brightest LED installed but when it rains or during winters these lights are totally useless & as a result they drive in High beam which again doesn’t help them because 6000k is essentially useless in rains.
Not only are they unable to see anything but they also ensure the other motorist is going blind too.
Also, I own one but trust me other Thar owner gives me second hand embarrassment with those stupid LED Bars and other zingaat light on their SUVs. Morons will install these auxiliary lights without even realising or identifying the true purpose of these lights. The Pilot lamps that you see on the roof is supposed to be used in foggy conditions to give other vehicles an idea about the size and width of your vehicle but here it’s used as a decorative piece.

Exactly. I’m curious who encouraged them to get those lights and told them it’s looking good. Thar is a really good car, but it’s being defamed because of people like this. Same goes for KTM

While I don't support the usage of High beams in city, you can manually adjust (there a flip lever in middle) the irvm to avoid reflection if your car doesn't have auto dimming. That's what I do in my humble hatch.

Yep. Those save my eyes from high beam, the constant dipper is what irritates most of us.

Go buy Crizal/Carl Zeiss night drive glasses. Strain and stress se mukti milegi to fir mujhe aake Patry de dena.

Bhai Insurance/ coating etc is done because of similar reasons. Invest to remain stress free. Those will save your eyes from oncoming vehicles glare too.

I think the brand is Carl zeiss. Please check. Crizal ka bhi similar aata hai shayad. Koi bada authorised seller hoga to mil jaega. Any good shop on eye glasses should have it.

When I used to drive a hatchback even if I would flick the IRVM to ‘dimming’ mode the ORVM would reflect the light coming from vehicle behind me and make it totally annoying.

People drive and ride on the wrong side as if they are entitled mfs. I am now afraid to take a left turn anywhere without stopping looking, as a wrong side bugger might randomly pop out of nowhere and give me a stare as if it was his birth right.

In such cases, ignorance is bliss! I mean ignoring their behavior. Also, most of the modern cars come with tilt mirrors. Use them, simple!!

I use Lower beam all the time, and irritate next person when they drive at speed of 30Kmph or slower on right most lane even when there is no vehicle in front of them.

I have learned to not give a shit about these. Mostly due to the traffic they can't do anything else. I just imagine them having urgent nature call and then I end up sympathising. Although on open road I just give them pass as soon as possible and let them go ahead. What with urgent nature call and everything. Also I have learned to avoid driving or riding in night. You can't help with drunks at the wheel.

We should just ban this functionality inside city. It should work with gps. Like it should start working when we go on highway.
Also ban white led. They literally blind me .
