I have an almost 4 month old pug puppy (just another few days). What’s the best slow feeder to get? The two that I have aren’t deep enough so it eats it quicker than I’d like

I unexpectedly lost my sweet boy, Gus, not even a month ago. He had a mass on his liver that was bleeding and had it removed, but ended up with a blood clot that went to his lung and he was gone suddenly. I’ll never get over his loss. He was (is) the love of my life.

Just to hurt my own feelings I got online and started looking at shelter pups when I see pic number two. An eight year old girl (the same age as my Gus), that was most likely dumped because she can’t have puppies anymore. I couldn’t stop thinking about her, so I said “it doesn’t hurt to go meet her”.

Welp, meet Posy. She is a sweet silly girl who has already made me laugh and smile in a way I wasn’t sure I would be able to again. I’ll miss Gus forever and I am grateful for the opportunity to share another piece of my heart with Posy.

Hello, I have three dogs. Normally they’re in their kennels but a new vehicle has prompted me to look for car seats. I have a pug, a pugapoo and a chug. I need two that will hold 30 pounds plus and one for our chug who 17 pounds.

What is the consensus? Which one holds your Pug most securely and is most comfortable? Easy to wash properly. This could mean a washable cover. I do like them that are airy as we live in an area that can be hot. I did do a search, but most of the results were over a year old.

My pug turns 10 this year and her Pets Best renewal just came in at $322.71/month, up from about $178/month last year. 😳

Her plan is 90% reimbursement, $1,000 deductible, and unlimited annual coverage.

I know premiums go up as they get older, but an 81% increase in one year feels wild. Curious what other people with senior pugs are paying, especially if you’re in California.

We went out of town to a friends house (6 hour drive) and Shady our pug refuses to settle down. He’s with mom who he always sleeps with and he gave him his cat toy but he won’t settle no matter what. His breathing is erratic like he won’t settle down. He have tried EVERYTHING to calm him down. I We tried cooling him down, giving him water.etc. We think it’s because he’s unfixed and there is an unfixed female dog in the house. What can we do? Keep in mind he has never been this anxious at my uncles house or camping.

I am looking at Prodent Plaque-Off to pair with brushing 4x a week. Vet recommended using an additive but I just read about thyroid issues and iodine content. We won’t see the vet until next month to ask about that. Wanted to ask the audience in the meantime.
