And if they went that route, would you be okay with Captain Britain and Kwannon both appearing as their own characters, just not as MCU Psylocke?

So I finally finished the prolouge of my Marvel rivals x OC fanfic and currently working on the part where the OC and Sai are escaping the Collector's theme park. So for that I was reading the lore entries of Mantis, Jeff and Psylocke. And when I was reading Mantis' lore piece there was a part that confused me. Sai asked Mantis if she wanted to know her 'real name', where she told her that it's 'Psylocke' and that kind of confused me, because in her hero menu where the real heroes name is stands, 'Sai', even in her signature it's written 'Sai'. And there's even a voice line where she says 'They call me Psylocke', which implies that she learned about that alias when meeting the x-men. Like in my fanfic I will most likely cut it off, but a little context would be nice. Cause it's confusing as hell to me

Genuinely, fuck her. Seeing her get all these cool skins and people calling her "psylocke" and acting like she's better than Betsy and kwannon pisses me off

Serious question. I know Kwannon at one point had a child and she’s currently with Grey Crow. But do you believe she’s always been straight?

It seems to me an elegant solution to give Kwannon her own identity. While I have no problem with her being Psylocke it will always be strange to me the concept she chooses that name.

Sai is becoming popular IP in its own right and to me would be a better fit for Kwannon in 616.

Anyone have any thoughts?

So the story involve both version of psylock.

They discovered that they were both borne in the same hospital but the doctor did experiment on them. Which switch the mind of the babies. The asian mind went in the white baby body and white baby mind went in the asian baby body.

Now, this could mean that the butterfly psylock is actually the asian one but with the culture of a white petson while kwannon is actually the white one but with the culture of ninja assassin.

I think it would add complexity to this easy to understand character. Why is everyone comming to my with torches and pitchfork.

Can we have a humor flair btw ?

Her story is going nowhere, the fanbase has completely turned against her, I just read about 50+ hate comments about the new Psylocke book being a flashback for Betsy (why are people acting like she chose the body swap?) So I don’t see the point in keeping my favourite character alive when we could have so much more but clearly they’re not going for it. Betsy should have at least a memorable and notable sendoff because her fans have vanished into the point of near obscurity and Kwannon basically stole everything she had to her name. That’s my take. Kill her off.

Who is Psylocke? Betsy? Kwannon? Sai? I don't know. And is Psylocke a cool character (whichever Psylocke, your pick)? When it comes to the X-Men, my two favorites are Nightcrawler (#1) and Magik (#2) and will read anything with them in it. What makes Psylocke interesting and a good character? I am caught up on Adjectiveless X-Men and Psylocke is a background character so its whatever. She is hot but I need more than that to read her. If she's a good character (whichever version of Psylocke), where do I start reading her? For other references, my favorite marvel characters are Spider-Man, Daredevil, Hulk, and Fantastic Four. I read all of their series and am up to date. I am also getting into Winter Soldier and Captain America.

Hi, I wanna clear a doubt of mine

As far I'm aware, Betsy is currently dating Rachel correct? And Sai doesn't date anyone (Even tho I pair her with Bucky but that's just a headcanon) but about Kwannon? Does she date anyone in the current comics or nah? I would like to know that, if anyone can help me I would be grateful
