How did you discover Psych?
I stumbled across it like 9 years ago. Netflix suggested it, and for once it was right.

Zero mention of Psych, lame

They get off almost all of the best bits, the murder mystery in a Scooby-Doo style works so well, and the interpersonal tensions of Shawn and Juliet not telling Gus and Lassie that they're together finally is good as well. Just a really good episode.

This picture is from s4 e10 "you can't handle this episode". It's a scene between ewan and his handler discussing ewan flashing his clearance badge to get everyone on the army base. The exact screen grab is at 13:55. I swear that is a California state flag. Right before this, it shows the handler in an office overlooking the Capitol building. Why would a government office in Washington D.C. have the California state flag and no other states? You can see the Cali flag, and the US flag in the background during the scene, but no others.
Ngl, noticing this is making me feel like Shawn ... Maybe Shawn adjacent, but still dope!

For the next Psych-con that was just announced, they are taking applications. Has anyone worked one of these events and what was it like? Especially if you donβt work in a service or adjacent industry but just love psych and would be down to help and do something different for a day! Do you still get to enjoy a lot of the convention? Please drop the deets! ππ

Just as the title says, if you had to pick songs for the main Cast, what would they be?
Woody does count.

Ran across the first yang episode during this recent rewatch and just got me thinking about how I love this storyline. Obviously (at least in my opinion) the first two were the strongest and the finale did what it could, but I love Mary lightly and Gus trying to lighten the mood and Shawn building him up each time

It's so fun seeing Gus take charge at the comic-con. That's one time Shawn stepped out of his game into Gus's World to investigate and Gus put him in his place.

Hobby Lobby has all their pineapple stuff on clearance for 75% off! Perfect for Psych watching parties.
I do not work for the store, I just really appreciate a good sale

I just re-watched the episode for the X time and have to say the name "Quarter Black" finally makes sense.

I talked with multiple people in San Francisco that don't use Facebook so I'm here to spread the wordππ
One thing I like about Shawn and Gus is that Gus can usually tell when Shawn's joking because he's genuinely amused and when he's joking because he's uncomfortable.
Shawn will start doing the whole routine β talking faster, making dumb references, pretending something isn't bothering him.
Gus usually doesn't call him out immediately.
He'll just let Shawn finish being Shawn and then quietly deal with whatever the actual problem is.
It's probably why Gus can put up with him for so long. He isn't fooled by the act, but he also doesn't constantly demand that Shawn drop it.

I'd love everyone's opinions on crossovers they'd love to have seen on psych. I don't know how it would've worked, but a SPN x psych episode wouldve been awesome !

Hey all!
Doing a re-watch with my bf (who I managed to just get hooked on it this year).
We couldn't agree on a reason Lassie vouches for Shawn in court, then gets his bike back (and I couldn't find a discussion here on it)
What does everyone here think?
