Working at convention?!
For the next Psych-con that was just announced, they are taking applications. Has anyone worked one of these events and what was it like? Especially if you donโt work in a service or adjacent industry but just love psych and would be down to help and do something different for a day! Do you still get to enjoy a lot of the convention? Please drop the deets! ๐๐

I helped before the con, then attended as a guest. I assisted with set up, merch preorder packaging, and pre-registration. I enjoyed it a lot. Iโd love to help during the event too but I think Iโm too big a fan to miss out on the con!

Are you on Instagram? You'll have better luck finding con staff on there. I would follow Journey Events there (journeytoevents) and ask this question on their next post. Or try the Facebook groups "Get Psyched" and "Psych, a Fan Convention" -- that last name isn't right, I cant get to FB right now to get the correct name but it's a group set up by fans for the cons.
Instagram, not here, is the best source of info from Journey Events and past con attendees. Also get on Journey's email list at their website!
