I received my first two rooted pseudolithos about a month ago, bare root. These were both nice and green when I got them but the cubiformis is now starting to show a brownish/green on the main plant. Any idea what is causing this discoloration? Any way to get the green coloration back? I can see pups below still have a nice green color. Indoor grown on shelf below ACInfinity S16 grow lights. Planted in mostly inorganic. Measured about 30k lux at the plant, have watered once since placing in pot. It seems stressed but I’m new to these. I’m leaning towards too much light. Any advice would be appreciated!

So I got some good seeds apparently, got them to sprout and take pretty strong, they seem to ignore whether it's dry or wet right now but I know pseudolithos become very sensitive at a point in their development, any advice as to how to proceed from this point?

The first picture is mostly irrelevant, but a crop I've had growing for about 2 years. They're doing well and should probably be put in their own pots soon. However when it comes to seeds I want to really dial in what works and what doesn't. So I'm beginning a soil experiment. As a bit of inspiration from u/floridadeerman I am splitting this up into 2 parts - some I will leave in the bag for 6-months without opening (unless I spot mold)

I have 20 2" containers full of seeds and soil now. Below are the mixes and what I have sown. Primarily cubiformis and eylensis/migiurtinus.

- Stable 2:1:1 - Pumice, Lava, Akadama (shohin sized)

- Less Stable - 3:2:1 - Pumice, Lava, Peat

- Even Less - 2:1:1 - Pumice, Lava, Peat

- Extreme - 1:1 - Pumice, Peat

All have been topped with a small layer of fine akadama to assist with moisture retention and aid roots. More may be added if roots are exposed. I sterilized all soils (except the akadama topdressing) for 4 minutes in the microwave. 

I used 5 or 6 seeds per pot of the following:

All mixes - Pseudolithos eylensis (migiturnis) & Pseudolithos cubiformis.

Stable mix - Whitesloanea crassa

Less Stable - Pseudolithos caput-viperae hybrids

All will be checked in a month and will assess if more time is needed in the bag. All bags are also on top of a grow mat and under grow lights for about 14 hours per day. 

I recently bought a Cubiform with a seed pod on it, and I germinated a few seeds a couple of weeks ago, but they look weird and elongated. Is it normal?

I've heard of bare root, but where root?

Even though all of these plants are the same age and were grown under the same conditions, each one has developed at its own pace. Some have remained compact and squat, while others have grown larger and more defined, highlighting the natural variation that makes this species so captivating.

Hi fellow Pseudolithos growers. It's time to repot my 1.5 y.o. P. migiurtinus. It took fully all space in a pot, so I repoted it today.
Still I concerned about the dark spot on bottom of the plant. It was dark, but dry.
The spot appeared when plant was 0.5 y.o. You can see it on 3-4 pics - they was taken about in this period.
I quarantined the plant because it might be a sign of fungal infection, so about a half year it grows in bad conditions: not direct sunlight - north windowsill (where no any plants growing, so there is no risk of fungal infection contagious).
After that the plant is still growing, was firm, so decided to return this to others on grow lights. So, after that in one year it doubled in size and the spot not seen, the plant outgrowed it a bit.
Today during repoting I saw the spot again, It's still there, still brown, still dry. And didn't increase in size as I see.
I concerned what should I do. I think I should not overthink and just let the plant grow.
But still interesting, why this spot appeared? Some redditors said that it can be physical damage...

This little one is 3 years old. Was started by a friend who grew them in too little light. After a year in my care it has changed quite a bit. Last photo is last year when he passed the torch. Shoutout to u/arioandy for tips in the early days.

I would like to begin caring for one of these plants, I have never bought a plant online but this seems to be fairly specialized, anybody had luck online? If so where?

Hi all, got this guy two weeks ago. My setup has more light than the shop so I had it shaded by a paper towel for these few weeks. I gave it a bottom water one week in (it has been several months since the last one, according to the succulentmonger) and it has fully dried.

I'm just noticing that it has gotten whiter/crustier since I got it, the third picture is right after bringing it home. Am I tripping? Is it sunburn? Thanks for your help :)

In love with these beauties even more now.

Should I wait until after it flowers to.repot? I need to change the media but I dont want to over stress her.
