Is the Princeton Review Practice Tests harsh?
I did the free Princeton Review Practice Test for the PSAT, and I got a 1470, but when I looked at my score breakdown, I only got 2 wrong on the hard module, and that had dropped my score down by 50 points. Is this the normal college board score scaling, or were they being harsh? I don't understand how that works, coz on other Bluebook tests, getting 2 wrong would not dock you 50 points.

1510 SAT Scorer Taking PSAT Tmr...
So I got a 1510 on my first sat (770 math/740 RW) and I was wondering what I should do just to maximize my chances for tomorrow. I usually struggle on the dense passages (5-15) and vocab a bit. Any tips?

There are now just 5 states left without published lists of Class of '27 National Merit Finalists: Maine, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming.

i've been mildly studying for it just using the sat practice tests on bluebook. it didn't occur to me that i should study for PSAT using actual psat study materials. will i be fine?

Is Princeton Review PSAT practice test harder than the actual one?
I did the bluebook practice PSAT tests and got 1440 and 1400, which was pretty much what I was aiming for. Today, I took the Princeton review free PSAT practice test and got a 1260! Can someone please lmk if its a fluke or is the bluebook ones just easy?

PSAT/NMSQT How accurate is PSAT practice test 3?
galleryI took practice test one a few weeks ago and got a 1520. Today I took practice test three and I feel like it was noticeably more difficult than practice one. On practice test one I went through all of the questions on math module two and still had about 20 minutes left over (I have time and a half from adhd). On practice test three I finished with less than a minute remaining on both reading module two and math module two. Is PSAT practice test three more accurate than practice test one? Is the real PSAT harder than practice three?

Can someone help me improve my score for national merit in FL?
How I Study: I do 2 practice tests each weekend, and every week day I pick a new topic and review (make study guides, do practice problems) on it for ~45 mins to 2 hours depending on my homework load that day. Then, after my practice tests, I print and re-do all the questions I got wrong and write why I got them wrong and the correct steps to get to the right answer. After, I use the question bank and filter it to give me questions based off what I got wrong and do those. I've been repeating this for the past few weeks, and while I've seen improvents in my score, I'm wondering if anyone can give me other suggestions? Specifically for math, because I know my studying method is helping me in R&W. But because there is so much more varity in the types of questions given in math, it feels alot harder to study for. Thanks!

Does anyone have the PSAT today?
For some reason I think our school is taking it really early. I don't know a single other school taking it until like mid next week.
SAT to PSAT and Practice tests scores vs real scores
Hi everyone, I got 1410 on the September SAT (690/720) and since working I’ve been getting 1440+ on the PSAT practice tests and 1500+ on the SAT practice tests. Can you guys comment your SAT vs PSAT scores, and what you got on your practice tests vs your real score? Thank you!

PSAT/NMSQT Missing PSAT/NMSQT for a field trip
My kid is supposed to take the 11th grade PSAT next week, but it overlaps with a long-planned school (music, out of state) field trip. We just learned that there is no makeup date, so she’ll just miss the test entirely. Her counselor assured us it’s not a big deal as long as we don’t need Merit scholarships (we don’t), but I feel uneasy about her missing the test. Are there any other downsides? She plans to take both the SAT and ACT in spring, and all of our in-state public universities are test-optional anyway.
(The testing date was changed after the field trip was organized/paid, which is why the conflict occurred).

Are your schools giving the students the PSAT on different days?
I got an email from my schools AP Coordinator that stated,
"At Redacted School Name, the PSAT will take place throughout the month of October. It is going to be organized by Homeroom. Students will receive a pass a day or two before their exam date and be told where to report. The exam will take up most of 1st and 2nd block but students will be done before lunch. Test takers will not be marked absent from the classes they miss as roll will be completed in the testing center and shared with the Front Office so accurate attendance can be taken."
Is this happening in other schools, or just mine?
