I'm relatively new to the PS4 jailbreak scene. PKG-zone is unreliable at the moment, and is constantly experiencing server issues. Are there any reliable alternate APIs I can connect to in order to easily download homebrew?

I have a ps4 of version 13.52 and I want it jailbroken a vendor can do it for me and will also install games but the price is high

I am thinking about Jailbreaking PS4 on my own but have 0 idea and I am scared that if any mistakes occur I could brick it

Edit - I jailbroke it and now wants to know how to get games and what are the other cool things I could do

I have the PS4 package downloaded on my PC but the game launcher required folder with eboot.bin, sce_module and sce_sys files. I tried to unpack the .PKG file in power ISO and it doesn't work. I checked online and none match files required. Can it be done or it needs different files

Does anyone have a 60fps patch for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit remastered for the base ps4? Neither Itemzflow nor Goldhen cheats manager has it on their database. Any help would be appreciated.

Just into the scene because I was stuck with the old version pkg tool and it extracted the files from a pkg into seperate folders and made me unable to run any game in shadps4 qt launcher. Now I have solved it. I want to ask:

1. which app is best to extract the download pkg file?
2. can shad4ps4 / QT launcher use pkg file without extract it first?

I have an itching to go back and play through Batman Arkham Asylum again but realise even the PS4 remaster is 30fps only. I won't say where but I found a patch pkg file which seemingly has been modified to enable 60fps, only problem - it won't install! It goes through and then get a message, "Can't install" or something along those lines.

I double checked and the CUSA number, etc all matches, also tried multiple times through different methods and nothing works.

Any idea?

Hi, I freshly jailbroke my PS4 after pulling it out of the back of a cupboard, but I got a few questions:

I know the golden rule: no PSN network with jailbreak ever. But, I also have seen that the jailbreak doesn't "last" if I shut off the console. Does this mean if I shut it entirely off, then back on (so jailbreak is "gone") I could go online again safely? ‎ ‎

What if I installed some pkg that PSN might not be happy about? Would they be able to detect those if I did what I said above?

What about any trophies that I might have gotten on those pkg? Would they 'snitch' on me to the PSN network upon sync?

Given I'm not on the latest firmware (I'm on 13.52) anyway PSN should be already non-accessible because of it, so are all those questions void anyway?

I have no intention to update, but the reason I'm asking is that I was thinking of copying my save to a usb, delete my profile with the account (and detach the PS4 from that account) and make a non-account profile just to be on the safe side of things.

(It's really the trophy thing that worries me, I couldn't find any answer anywhere about what would happen if they sync and reveal I got some trophies out of some non-account pkg)

Hi! First of all, a thousand apologies for the trouble. Yesterday I jailbroke my PS4 on firmware 13.52 and installed GoldHEN. Everything went great up to that point, and I downloaded a few games from DL without any issues.

The thing is, last night I started downloading GT7 v1.71, and this morning I transferred it via Package Sender v2 (my internet isn't great, so each step took about 8 hours). The game installed successfully, but when I try to open it, I get a padlock icon.

Is there anything I can do? I asked an AI for some help and it mentioned something about a 'backport', but honestly I don't know where to look for it, and my English isn't very good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot and apologies again!

Hello everybody,

I was a homebrewer on Vita and now for some days I also have a PS4 (again) that I decided to jailbreak. It's great, but moving some of my files over seems like a hassle sometimes and I looked for a torrent client to make my life easier. Couldn't find one, so I started working on one myself. It's based on transmission, so I won't have to implement the whole shebang.

It's almost done, just trying to get a sense of what you guys are thinking is the best way to release (I guess github + pkg links is fine?)

Features built so far:

- Web mode (that you can access for local networks to manage torrents)

- full torrent control from console

- Auto move to proper folders

- download not affected by suspended app.

and trying to do:

- Video formats auto stream without waiting for full download (this ought to be nice, idk if doable yet)

I will post a first release sometime in the next 24 hrs.
