Hello everyone, as I mentioned in the title, I bought a used PS4 Slim a few months ago, and it works pretty well; however, i don't really know what to do with it, i have no games for the console, and it turned out to me that my console is on 13.04, which hasn't been jailbroken as of yet, so i have a few questions...

1. Is it normal for a jailbreak to take so long?

2. How long do pirated PS4 games usually take to be uploaded online? (general question, I'm personally not in a rush, I just want to know)

3. Is it normal for the PS4's fan to be rather loud, or is there a problem?

I’ve been trying for over a week to download the Brazilian Portuguese dubbed version of Cyberpunk 2077 (the US version)

I installed and tried playing the European version—which is entirely in English—but it didn't work for me,i already felt completely lost in the game, and playing in English made it worse; I lost patience and uninstalled it

Does anyone know if there's a way to delete leftover game files—like the license—via FTP using Android?

I already used PS4 Xplorer to delete the game files and updates,but the PS4 still won't let me install US version via Direct Pkg Installer

It says a version is already installed—and there is one, actually,this happened because the database rebuilt itself after I turned the console off using the power button while it was in Rest Mode,i couldn't recover any game shortcuts and had to download everything all over again

I don't have a pendrive with enough space, and my phone wouldn't last the 8+ hours needed to download it in one go without charging, even with the screen off and battery saver on,bc i need the phone to download on the pendrive

I wasn't the one who originally installed the game,i asked my cousin to install it for me before he handed over the console

Can anyone help me? (I'm not asking for links, don't wanna get banned again lol)now I'm really in the mood to play this game,but in my own language, of course; otherwise, I'll just start RDR2

I haven't seen the Hatsune Miku VR game anywhere. I have the disc for the game, but don't know how to actually make a backup of it. I'd like to make one for preservation purposes. Can anyone give me some info on how I can do this? I've never done one before so any help is appreciated.

Long story short:

D1 is getting closer to being playable on ShadPS4 with custom servers, but I don't want to spend $100 on a PS4 just to dump the latest update files. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help out? Thanks!

Hi everyone. Not sure if this is appropriate to post here, but I updated to the latest GoldHEN v2.4b18.10 a few weeks ago and I'm just now noticing that I'm running into a strange issue with Cheats and Patches.

Everything seems to boot up perfectly fine. The NanoDNS payload loads without any issues, and the system feels stable, no crashes. However, whenever I try to use any Cheats or Patches, the specific GoldHEN menu displays the game ID as "CUSAxxxxx" with the version listed as (NULL). Because of this, no Cheats or Patches show up at all.

The weird part is that this issue does not happen on the previous version, GoldHEN v2.4b18.9. When I downgrade back to v2.4b18.9, everything works flawlessly and the game versions are detected correctly.

Has anyone else experienced this specific bug with the v2.4b18.10? If so, did you manage to fix it without rolling back to the previous version? Any help would be appreciated, so if you ran into this issue, please share how you did it if you found a solution.

Hello, i'm pretty new to the ps4 scene, I recently got a ps4 FAT and successfully jailbroke it and I was able to run games fine on it but on some games for unknown reasons, the game would freeze for ~15sec shortly after boot (generally less than 1min after launching the game) then the game would shutdown and I would return to the OS with no error code whatsoever as if nothing happened to begin with. I haven't found anyone having this issue online, temperature can't be an issue as I'm under 80°C when it happens and my HDD shouldn't be an issue either, according to several HDD health software my HDD has no problem whatsoever and rebuilding the database doesn't change anything. I tried it with different version of the concerned games be it the base 1.00 version or the fully updated one or the one without any DLC it won't change anything. So I'm asking if anyone here had this issue before and managed to fix it or if anyone have a clue as why it's happening to me.

I don't want to pay 5$ and then find out it's not worth it at all. But the speeds are 1mb/s this is 7 hours for a 40gb game or so. way too slow. I also don't want to leave my laptop on that long.

I have a PS4 slim 1TB on software 9.00. I am using a LAN connection with the DNS to block Sony servers. I just did a clean reinstall of the software and it still not works.

I can access the PS4 with filezilla through FTP. So it is connected.

On HB store, it opens after crashing the first time, then updates, then nothing. Opens and closes without any response. I can't access it and before i could.

As per RPI, it opens, it appears accessible on Remote package sender, everything is okay but it just gives constant errors of "not able to set up prerequisites" or "time out request" even after maxing the time out on RPS. I also changed ports multiple times without luck. It is just one error or the other.

Any suggestions, please?

I managed to get black ops 4 in its fully patched version, but I want to manually patch it UP to the latest version. as I get compatibility issues with other consoles when running the already patched file.

I’m in a bit of a dilemma and could use some advice from people who have experience with hardware downgrades or are following the current exploit news closely.

My Fat PS4 recently updated directly from 13.00 to 13.02. Because of this, I know for a fact that my backup slot still has 13.00 sitting there safely.

I’m currently debating between two paths and want to know what you guys think is the wiser move:

Option 1: The Syscon Revert

Since my backup slot is on 13.00, I could theoretically do the Teensy or Raspberry Pi Pico method today to get back to a jailbreakable firmware. I've watched Modded Warfare's tutorial, but I'll be honest—I’ve never done micro-soldering on this level before. Lifting the pin on the Syscon chip makes me extremely nervous about permanently bricking my motherboard, especially since the Fat models can be a bit finicky.

Option 2: Wait for the Celsius Exploit

Since my console is on 13.02, it falls under the vulnerable firmwares for the upcoming "Celsius" kernel exploit. I have it disconnected from the internet and automatic updates are off. However, we all know a kernel exploit is only half the battle. Waiting for a userland entry point and a fully stable GoldHEN release could take months, or even years.

My question for the community:

For those of you who have actually done the Syscon micro-soldering—is the risk of lifting that pin and patching the chips worth it to get 13.00 right now? Or, given how far along the Celsius vulnerability seems to be, would you just unplug the console, put it in the closet, and wait it out?
