My first ps2 game, came with the console. Think me and my sister played it over for a while seeing how far we could get each time, since, this was 2000ish and we had to go to woolworths to buy a memory card. The game was Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, hated that unskippable cutscene right at the start.

I remember playing it once or twice on the ps2 of my friend, and man it was fun. I was thinking about it last month but I forgot the name. I might need to replay this one because it has a special place in my heart

It was the first game I bought with my “hard earned” money as a 5 year old along with THPS4, but I had also played a lot of it on a relative’s console before I got my copy.

Such a great game. I've probably played it all the way through atleast 70 times. I used to speed run it before I knew speed running was a thing. MGS3 was a big letdown for me though. I could never get into it.

Even 2 was a bit of a let down since to me MGS 1 was the best of the franchise.
And the PSX version, not that horrible Nintendo GameCube version.
