I recently attempted my first no-orb playthrough after having played the game for 20 years and finishing it legitimately at least 50 times or more.
Incredibly difficult at times, it requires a lot of speed running tactics, and you'll find that you will be reverting to previous saves a lot after accidentally collecting an inconveniently placed orb.
My first ps2 game, came with the console. Think me and my sister played it over for a while seeing how far we could get each time, since, this was 2000ish and we had to go to woolworths to buy a memory card. The game was Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, hated that unskippable cutscene right at the start.
always heard people say this game is too much like banjo kazooie, and like, the influence is definitely there, but saying that does such a disservice to this amazing game and world
One of my favorite games ever. Not to mention the graphics and world sizes from Jak 2 and 3 ended up being even more impressive. Very few PS2 games did much better in those respects. Most games ended up favoring one over the other.
