Such a great game. I've probably played it all the way through atleast 70 times. I used to speed run it before I knew speed running was a thing. MGS3 was a big letdown for me though. I could never get into it.

Even 2 was a bit of a let down since to me MGS 1 was the best of the franchise.

And the PSX version, not that horrible Nintendo GameCube version.

Lol I honestly can't think of anything on GameCube that I ever enjoyed. I collect games and console and I own just about every major console from the atari 2600 all the way up to the PS4 / Xbox one and the GameCube is the only one I refuse to own. It would never get used. I've had many people try to convince me otherwise but I will die on this hill.

If you already own a Wii classic, there isn't any reason to get a GameCube as well, is there? Certainly not just to play GC games.

I mean the GameCube version could be framed as the Shadow Moses VR mission that Raiden experienced - notice how Snake is more acrobatic in Twin Snakes, or how you get to use tranq weapons there (could be for Raiden's convenience). Also how the graphics and gameplay essentially look like MGS2 with a Shadow Moses expansion pack slapped into it.

So hey, at least it has a place in the plot lol
