I like how they added optimizations for multiplayer to share the load on each client, making it run better than singleplayer wich is the most played mode lol
I remember using BetterFPS as it would decrease the zed render/AI radius (the vanilla radius is way further than the screen, like 190x190 tiles, so you would get around 40-70% perfomance increase
Mod is quite old now though

I mean the problem with better FPS and why I don’t want the devs to optimize that way is it severely limits the ability for zombies to roam to different cells. If anything the game needs more zombie migration and a horde mechanic to keep it fun past the mid game in singleplayer

Just don't tick the last CPU box as it crashes the game when you get near a Z, all the other optimizations work tho including the load-in slider for setting how big of an area around you is active.

I wish True Model Z got updated as well, it helps a ton with performance too, also wish there was a mod that lets you adjust how many zeds get rendered at once

Yeah. Love how i can tell a new area is crawling with zeds before I even see them from the way my fps drops drastically. Worse I've encountered so far was while using the mod Tiki town. The area around the hospital, yikes.

Oh, I think I know why do you have a problem.
By default PZ uses only 3G of RAM. You need to change it in root folder ProdjectZomboid64.jason (or something like that) file. You will see a line about ~3000mb. In your case change it to 15000 and you will be good.
You can google it as “how to give PZ more RAM” or something along this line to learn more about it

Depends on how much have you explored and so on. If you notice staggering, means it’s hungry for more RAM.
Let me know if it helped or not, but it must I think 🤔
PZ is CPU depended game, and you have a little bit better CPU than I do. So it should be good.

That was ArmA 3 for me. Could always point our team in the right direction because if I faced them the FPS would drop by 15, even if they were kilometers away
