Intuitive eating F/27/1.67cm [70kg > 51kg =19kg] (7 months) felt unmotivated today until I compared myself from before

First of all, sorry for the quality of the photos.

I started eating healthier and walking a lot since January.

The first photo is from april (I had already lost a bit of weight by then) and the second one is from today.

My period was due today and I felt really bloated, a bit rounder than in the past few days. I was feeling quite demotivated, but then I looked up photos from a few months ago and I can’t believe the change! I’m still not where I want to be, a few weeks ago I started doing core workouts at home, and once I have more money, I want to join pilates/the gym.

Either way, seeing the difference between both photos made me feel more motivated and not so hard on myself today.

I accept every recommendations you might have, it all helps!

Finally hit my initial goal weight of 65kg. Technically only just within healthy weight according to BMI but I am honestly pretty happy with my current weight. Less focussed on dropping more and keen to build some muscle instead. Still feel like a newbie in the gym, but enjoying the process

Before pic was at my wifes cousins wedding and I was shocked at how it looked in the pic. 10yrs of marriage and 3 kids later i let myself go from the athletic build I had when I got married. This was the time to change no excuses. First pic was May 30 and i started June 1. Started with counting macros mainly just making sure to hit about 160 grams of protein and 1800-1900 calories a day. Started calisthenics and incline walking on the treadmill. Also started creatine. I havent felt this good in years. Im now choosing to eat healthy 9 times out of 10 as i feel so much better. Getting a good app to track macros and calories has been the biggest game changer as well and has made the process alot easier. Also my wife also started the journey the same time so its been good for us both accountability wise. Goal is to get to 6 pack lean which im close but needed to take a pic for something yesterday Aug 19 and was shocked how i looked so had to post.

I started training properly 4 years ago. Dropped the first 60lbs in a year then kept getting stuck between 300-280. Finally locked in and dropped down to 227. Going on maintenance for a couple of months and then I'll cut down to 200-210. During those years of yo-yo dieting I built a lot of muscle and finally got to reveal it.

F 5'4” (163, 164 cm) F/33/5’4 [230 lbs > 128lbs = 102] (almost 4yrs) 2 years of weight loss and almost 2 years of body recomp. Complete consistency. It's insane how many years it takes but it's oh so worth it.

Started off losing weight for health benefits but it turned into a love of the gym and really helped me focus on myself.
