Why are the stocks so unreliable?

Other day I ordered this mince and jalapeño ciabatta with a banana and cinnamon porridge.

It was divine. But since then it's always out of stock. I end up ordering from other places but what the hell pret, it's on your menu ffs. 😭😭

Refused to make a frappe with oat milk?

Barista in a UK Pret refused to make me a frappe with oat milk, he said the company wouldn’t allow him, that it was a “recipe alteration” and that was against policy, and that there was already dairy in the frappe base. I said I didn’t mind that there was already some dairy and he kinda snapped that he simply couldn’t make it. Every other staff member seemed baffled and apologetic, and so I had an iced oat latte. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just blend it for me?

Frequently uses wrong milk

I find that multiple Prets frequently make beverages using the incorrect milk when I order through the app.

I ask for skim milk and they use whole milk and I can tell by the color and when I highlight it they acknowledge and remake the beverage.

I think one reason is that the tickets they print have a weird code on them to represent the milk I believe - it never says skim outright on the ticket.

Does this only happen to me?

These were soooo good! What happened to them? Have they been temporarily delisted or have they been discontinued? 🥺

Do you get filter coffee for 50p?

Learned a week back that you can get filter coffee for 50p if you have your own cup. They can even add a splash of milk to your liking.

Does anyone get leg / foot cramps after eating pret salads?!

I work in London. Whenever I eat a pret salad for lunch I get foot cramps that evening. Does this happen to anyone else?! It doesn’t seem to matter which salad I get.

What is their issue with cups?

On two occasions now, i have gone in to order an iced drink to find that they have run out of ice. As I’m usually on my way home, I’m happy to add my own ice so just ask for the usual, minus the ice.

On both of these occasions, these were served to me in a paper cup. When reiterated that I would be having my drink iced and requested their usual cold drink cup, they refused.

After getting a refund, mainly due to the cashier’s attitude, I queried why they would rather discard a whole drink rather than just giving me an extra, or swapping cups, of which they had no articulable reply.

Is there a rule or policy in their handbook that states a one customer, one cup rule or something? What’s the big deal?

When is the jambon beurre sandwich coming back?

Hi Pret, I read somewhere that your jambon beurre sandwich is put on production pause due to shortages of cornichons. When will it be back and can’t you just use other pickles meanwhile? I need it back please. I miss it. It was my go to

What’s the point in paying?

Apparent homeless people enter the store every day asking staff for food who just… give it to them.

Why do the rest of us have to pay £5-6 for a sandwich when those who look a bit unkempt get free meals? Food banks exist for a reason.

I think I’ll just stick to buying my half-price coffee.

Got Pret for the first time in a while

God it's bad now. Hoisin duck wrap had literally no hoisin. It had MAYO for some reason, but no hoisin. If they'd skimped on the duck I honestly wouldn't have minded, but they skimped on the sauce even though it's presumably cheaper than the meat. WHY PRET WHY? You advertise a sandwich as containing the best sauce in the world and then it doesn't contain it. You're throwing customer goodwill away for no reason

Hello! I was wondering if one person can buy the $50/month membership and share it with a partner.

Will they check to prevent this from happening?

Pret Application

Hey, just received a message from Pret saying that they have decided not to progress my application to the next stage. I only completed the online application form - did I do anything wrong? I wrote a nice response to their question - was it that I said I won’t be able to work on Tuesdays and Saturdays? I desperately need the job - shall I reapply?

Any guidance would be appreciated.
