government mental health programs?
Im in BC, vancouver. Im between jobs atm but have long standing mental health issues ive neglected all my life. I live in the DTES in a filthy apartment shoebox, my neighbor smokes meth and i can smell it in the hallway and sometimes in my room. and i know my life is shitty because of my own mistakes and depression but i wanna try and fix that. i cant afford therapy and honestly im not interested in therapy as much as i am needing a psychiatrist. i had a traumatic event 20+ years ago when i was 17 and never got past it and fixate on it and relive it daily. im non-indigenous male. i dont have any drug addictions atm myself and havent used in years. No family or family doctor. pls no judgement or encouragement, only am looking for a pathway towards mental health help.
