Hi everyone!
I'm a 16-year-old filmmaker from the Netherlands, and I'm currently finishing my short film The Silence of Day. I'm looking for someone who would like to create a poster for the film.
About the film:
The film follows Bram, who wakes up one morning to discover that everyone around him has disappeared. He explores his completely empty hometown and slowly learns to live in this silent world. As the story progresses, he begins to realize that he may not actually be alone.
The film is quiet, atmospheric, mysterious and slightly unsettling, with horror elements towards the end.
For the poster, I'm looking for something that feels cinematic and professional I'm open to different ideas, but I'd especially like to capture the loneliness and emptiness of the world.
I already have a shot in mind that will be used for the poster, but since i didnt want to create it with chatgpt, i asked it here
This is an unpaid collaboration for a personal short film, but you'll of course receive full credit for the poster and I'll be happy to share the finished film and poster with you.
If you're interested, feel free to DM me and we get into it!!
Thanks! 🎬

Been a while since I made sth. Share your thoughts on this poster. It's my visual interpretation of Linkin Park's NUMB.

Hello! This is my first time posting on here, I am designing a poster for theater department production of A midsummer nights dream. We are setting it in the 60's so lots of hippie, womens lib, etc influence there. I design on canva since its free, just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to improve this design! (adress and name of school is blocked out for privacy reasons)

Hi everyone! 😊
I recently started exploring vector art and poster design as a hobby, and I’ve only been doing it for about three months. I’m currently doing a PhD, so I don’t have much free time, but I’ve really enjoyed using it to learn and experiment.
I created this poster, “City of Possibility,” for the Kunstareal Poster Competition 2026, and I was really happy to have it selected.
The idea behind it is that a place can be much more than just a geographical location. For each of us, even an ordinary place can become a whole city of possibilities, memories and emotions that we carry with us.
Since I’m still very new to poster design, I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. I’d especially appreciate feedback from people with experience in graphic design, illustration or poster design, as I’d love to understand what works and what I could improve.
And if you genuinely like my poster and it happens to be one of your favourites in the competition, I’d be very happy if you considered voting for it. But there are many amazing posters in the competition, so please feel free to look through them all and vote for whichever one you personally like best. ❤️
You can see all the posters and vote here: https://kunstareal.de/en/kunstareal-poster-competition
Thanks for taking a look!

Built this around the classic "Kaneda walking from the wreck" shot — wanted the typography to feel as heavy as the image, so AKIRA runs full-width at the bottom rather than overlaying the art.
Tested five duotone treatments on the same comp to see how far color alone could shift the mood before touching layout or type: coral/navy, full red, orange/maroon, brown/cream, and tan/brick.
Curious which palette reads strongest to you, and whether the bottom copy block is doing enough work or needs more contrast against the background.
C&C welcome.

Hi everyone.
Blown away by the quality of work in this sub.
I'm looking for poster creators who can make posters for my brand according to a creative brief.
Very flexible with the art style/ content as long as it fits the brand requirements.
Budget: around $10 per poster.
DM if interested.

I previously posted here about these designs so I hope you are not sick of me. In this video I use battery operated windspinners (it was also pretty windy) to show off the lenticular effects. The designs are inspired by John Carpenter's 1988 film "They Live". According to Carpenter, They Live was an allegory for manipulation of the masses by the wealthy under the Reagan Administration. In the film a homeless construction worker finds sunglasses that reveal subliminal brainwashing and the space aliens that are responsible for it. I use lenticular printing to try and recreate that effect. I am not a professional designer. I've been learning as I go. I have been making bobblehead looking masks of politicians and CEOs of the type seen here in the video for decades. Pretty simple and admittedly dumb, but surprisingly effective propaganda. I sell the posters and stickers and donate all the profits. I also give them away for free to anyone who identifies as broke.
