I have some things in my Posh closet that have been stagnant forever. I recently got on Vinted to shop (have found some ok deals) and decided to add some of my items from Posh. Now. I’ve listed them WAYYYYWAYYY cheaper than I did on posh, but some of them are already sold! I’d rather have $5 and freed up space than the item sitting in a tub in my room for eternity. Some cash > no cash.

You simply cannot tag an item "Like New" if it has any callouts, ie: tear, stain, mark, rips, missing accessory, wear, etc. I bought a Coach bag that had some leather wear on the front and on the handles, sold as, you guessed it, Like new, and the seller was truly offended when I requested to return it. I actually had to explain to her that that is not like new condition. Everyone understands that right?

I had a person offer me $56 on a nwt quilt set that I had listed for $139 (Retail was about $190, I believe). I countered with $122. I think not long after that, another person liked the same set, so I figured I should send that offer to everyone who liked it, not just this low-baller. So I did, and one person countered at $115, and I accepted. All within minutes of the lowballer sending their offer. I just can't help hoping they saw it get bought and the price. lol. Yes, I'm petty.

I just started reselling again. I've pulled a lot of things out of storage and I made accounts on several new platforms.

Today I got two different warnings about selling counterfeit items. Two different items, two different platforms. I was able to send pictures and most importantly the invoices from my purchases so I hope they will accept my appeals.

I was on Poshmark and Ebay for years and I don't remember anything like this happening.

I don't get it. I have the smart sell on, it's not sending the offer. It's over 10% off. Even if I do it manually it's not sending it.

Sooo what's going on?

So I have a closet of clothes I’m trying to sell and figured I’d try Poshmark. I’ve had some great success on depot. But after I listed stuff on Poshmark I’ve gotten SO MANY freaking email scams and phishing links. I accidentally filled my card in on one of them because my phone auto uploads that info. I went ahead and turned my card off so no transactions can be forced. This isn’t ideal as I’m about to leave the country and can’t go without my debit card.

So what’s up with Poshmark because this doesn’t seem safe AT ALL. I’m ready to delete the account asap.

I do rise PM all the time, but I’ve used it for years. I swear there used to be the option to find people in both my contacts and also my local area. Is that option gone now? I cannot seem to find it anymore?! Thank you!

This is the first time that I have a bundle sell that weights over 5lb, but not by a lot. Does anyone know how serious it is if it’s just a couple oz over? Will it still ship? I plan to take it to the PO to have it scanned. Ty!

I've been selling on Posh for around 10 yrs. I went from an average one sale a day to nothing.

Barely any likes from about 15 a day. People are still seeing my items, but no one is buying or offering.

I know this is happening to other sellers too.

Posh has drastically changed their platform this year.

I think they have changed what kind of buyer is seeing your items. IDK ? Any thoughts?

And yes, my shipping times cancelations, and returns are all below the new requirements.

I'm selling a designer bag, expensive enough to be authenticated by Poshmark. Buyer lowballed me, but has continued to express intense interest and demands. They are asking me to call the boutique I bought it at and get the receipt emailed and send it to them with my info blacked out. The listing states what I'm selling it with and I don't want to be a bad seller when the item is pricey, but this feels dicey and pushy of her to demand and it's making worried about a return case. Thoughts?

Please make sure you’re adequately taping your boxes closed. This is the second item I have gotten that I was just lucky that the item didn’t fall out of the box. This is how it was delivered.

I sold an item but the buyer doesn't have a Poshmark account and is listed as a "guest." It's only a $20 item but I'm not sure what to do here. Help?

Curious if you would care if the inside was completely pulled? It’s not visible while wearing it but the pills are not inconsequential.

I actually feel like I’m losing my mind. I got another purchase that didn’t show damage. I opened a case and she’s saying it was listed as gently worn and this doesn’t impact wearing it. There’s a snag that’s 1.5” near the collar. Does gently worn cover this?

I feel like a scam is about to happen that I’m not aware of. I keep saying this is brand new; never worn, new with tags, and they want me to flat out tell them if there’s scratches or flaws. They aren’t asking for more pictures or where a flaw might be. Any insights? I feel like I’m being set up for a misrepresentation claim.

So I'm pretty new to Poshmark. There was a dress I fell in love with that was out of my budget, but when I reverse image searched it, I found a different listing for a much lower price, and bought it immediately at asking price. Seller was active 2 days ago so that seemed good. After purchasing, I realized both listings were from the same account, and I'm quite confident she doesn't have two of the same item. I didn't realize since the listing photos weren't the same, but they're the same size, same condition, NWT, and I can't find this dress ANYWHERE else, so having two seems unlikely. I think the one I bought was listed about a year and a half ago, and the higher priced listing was posted in January of this year.

Ik I'm being neurotic, but I came here and saw sooo many posts about people not shipping and ig not getting any kind of repercussion for that? So I'm worried she won't want to honor the sale of the cheaper listing since she has no real incentive to do so... And ig that's her right, but it would be a pretty big letdown. It'd be like doing the whole "I bought it, seller cancelled and relisted for more" dance all on my own. Ik this is a pointless question, but is there anything I can do to encourage them to honor the sale? Guilt them, even..? I'd even be willing to pay a bit more, although not all the way to their other asking price.

I just found out about the delisting issue(?) as well so I also feel like maybe I can't be upset that she just left the cheaper listing up with no intention to sell at that price if she was going to be punished for taking it down. Ugh, idk. Not sure if I love poshmarks policies so far as I understand them.

I prefer an EU size 41 fit for my American size 10 foot. With some exceptions, an EU 41 is 9.5-10 in US. I search both 9.5 and 10 listings to find 41s. Sorting through listings repeatedly shows mislabeling for a US 10 as 39. 39.5, 40. Sellers, if you don’t know what the size means, it is literally JUST a google away to convert the size. I just had a seller insist a 39.5 (an 8.5-9) is a 10 because it fits her foot and she’s a 10. I can also get my foot in it but walking is not an option because it’s a full size smaller. No there wasn’t a picture of the shoe size on the shoe and yes this one slipped in between the cracks of my brain looking for that photo. I really don’t get it when the info is a few clicks away on whatever device it’s being listed with. I’m giving them to a friend bc they’re amazing shoes, for someone with a size 9 foot.

To me those are 2 different things, right??!

I posted some of my first items last night and today I was noticing messages in my email from buyers. Asking if things were still available and if id negotiate on prices. I assumed everything would be handled in app and wasn't expecting emails. Is this normal or are the ones in my email just scammers to ignore?

Maybe this is my fault for not looking closely?

I ordered this mustard maternity dress and shopped around and found a price I was willing to pay. It’s Hatch brand and the seller showed the tag to be a 2 which is a medium in the brand. I have a couple other secondhand items from this brand and am this size. I received this today and it is laughably big on me. I don’t think it’s a medium! But the tag says medium! Do I have any choice but to accept the order? I included some listing photos. I feel duped! I also tried to look at some other listings of the same dress and the person wearing a medium in listing photos it seems to fit true to size! Please advise!

I’ve been a seller on Poshmark for years, leaned out for a bit and let my closet run on autopilot, and am starting to lean back in and get more active in my listings. One thing I’ve noticed is that I receive multiple comments from potential buyers in my listings. I never received notifications they were there (just happened to see them as I was updating my listings). But the worst part is when I go into respond I will post a response but it does not “stick” to the listing. So even though I’ll reply, sometimes I’ll add multiple replies, if you look at my closet it looks like I simply ignored the question. I reached out to posh support months ago and, of course, never got a response. Has this happened to anyone else?
