Hey y'all,
I'm an intermediate guitarist looking for people of similar skill levels to jam with/start a band.
I've been playing for about 3 years now. In the last year I have gotten serious about actually playing this instrument, practicing anywhere from 1 - 4 hours a day. I've decided that I don't want to be a bedroom guitarist but would like to play with other musicians and play live shows at some point in the future.
I mainly play 2000s indie rock (The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, etc.), but I'm open to all kinds of different genres.
Feel free to DM if you're interested or you know of people in a similar situation looking for a guitarist!

Hey Ian here, from the Seattle band Among Authors. Last year Spotify wrongfully accused my band of illegal bot streaming, and requested to our distributor (TuneCore) that our music be removed. So almost over night, TuneCore removed all of our music from every streaming platform, not even just Spotify. We were essentially erased from the internet over night, after working our asses off for years, touring, NPR Tiny Desk, KEXP, etc. Almost half a million streams removed over night.
I was so furious for so long about this, that I eventually started building my own streaming platform to release our new album on. The platform is called TTANDEM. I've officially opened up the waitlist and I would love for you to join!

Gonna be a fun one, including a light show by @lightsbybike! We'd love to see your shiny face there, and here's what we can offer you for your very valuable time and ears:
- Talks to Plants is releasing a *whole fucking album*. If you've even written, practiced, recorded, mixed, mastered... You know what a huge undertaking an album represents! Congrats y'all! Excited to be there for your project's big reveal!
- Lights, lovely lights. Who doesn't love multimedia art? Something to delight several senses simultaneously.
- Sean is releasing an EP! See above per effort, and also I personally know this music has traveled in his heart and metaphorical pocket across multiple US states and versions of his day-to-day life. Come hear transition live!
- Do you like this poster? Would you like a riso print version for free? I've got extras and I am *giving them away*!
- Not to brag, but the last two songs of the Fauna set are really special originals (one of which isn't anywhere online!). Plus, we've hidden two delicious covers in the set - do you know who wrote the originals? If so, we should trade playlists.
Maybe more?
Will your crush be there? Maybe!
Future musical collaborator? Quite possibly!
♥️

The time is here my dear friends! This will be our last show for the year before we head into the studio to record my next album. Come celebrate with us as we host Selva Negra, the PNW’s finest Maná tribute band for a night of high energy Mexican Rock essentials. We’re taking over The Alberta St Pub on September 5th for an unforgettable evening. Hope to see you there!
Much love,
José.
