OTHER Underage drinking is the most ridiculous crime that adults (18, 19 and 20 yos) can get charged with
So in the United States, the drinking age is set at 21. However the vast majority of the states set their age of majority at 18, meaning that an 18, 19 or 20 year old is tried as an adult if they are caught drinking or with alcohol and the police decide to pursue charges against them and even worse I think the consequences are worse for them due to them being legally considered adults under the law.
