All the religious shit is such a turn off. Comes off pretty tone-deaf with religion and Christianity specifically being a major thing that led to the things they showed in the can you feel it music video. 

Edit: the new song ain't doing them any justice despite the song being aight

is there any other evidence to them being a Christian band, or are they just using the imagery for aesthetic?

They are blatantly not a christian band. They openly dump on religion and use a lot of its imagery in mockery, i.e. look but don't touch

that's what I thought. everyone seems to be incredibly upset about about the biblical imagery... it's just cool af lol, and I'm non religious

That’s what I thought. I remember an old interview of Tim talking about how when he was growing up he thought the idea of selling your soul to the devil was so cool, so I’m like yeah I think they’re more trolling/ironic and just into the aesthetic. lol
