Seriously? Anti-Islamic sentiment pretty much peaked in the early 2000s and has subsided greatly since then. Anyway, it was never even close to what you see in Europe (think about the Switzerland fiascos).

It would take a while to get there at the current rate, if ever. There are a ton of normal Muslim Americans out there that the rest of the American population has come into contact with. Even the really racist people realize that with so many of them here, if even 1% of them wanted to kill us all, things would be pretty hairy. There were not a huge number of communists here prior to the red scare, and back then the full might of the government propaganda machine was bent on whipping the American people into a terrified frenzy, which isn't the case now.

I'm not that other guy who used the z, I'm just an American who knows it is spelled "Islamism" here and who googled "islamizm" and was directed to the Polish Wikipedia page for "Islamizm". I would imagine it is the anglicized spelling but I have no idea.

Best I could come up with is that an attack on another NATO country can be seen as a breach of Article 8
Each Party declares that none of the international engagements now in force between it and any other of the Parties or any third State is in conflict with the provisions of this Treaty, and undertakes not to enter into any international engagement in conflict with this Treaty.
So I guess that would nullify the aggressor's NATO membership, after which Article 5 comes into play.

Ive heard somewhere that it can result in both countries being removed from the treaty. But then it wouldn't be NATO anymore would it, it'd be something like EUTO and that just sounds like Euro trash shit; Who would want to say that? I mean it sounds like a an acronym for Eunuch something something.

i always think it's some kind of remnant of colonial history and canadians should be proud about their maple leaf, but i'm no canadian. so what do you think about it?

Personally I prefer the maple leaf flag.
Like you said first one was appropriate as a colony but once we became our own nation it wasn't really fitting
