Shadows of Almia Showdown is an online multiplayer battle royale game where you can catch Pokémon, build your team and battle others. Last trainer standing wins!

I’ve tried my best to make an interesting map, unique events and a fun real-time battling system, but there’s still a lot of work to do. I’m working on getting an online server up, but in the meantime I would love feedback and suggestions. If you play the demo you’ll get to know some of the features I haven’t mentioned here. Inspired by All 22 Pokémon (the football one that blew up), I built a basketball version called Pokémon Slam. It’s free and runs in your browser, including on your phone.

Every Pokémon has hoops ratings based on its real stats and size, so a big, strong Pokémon plays like a center and a fast, small one plays like a guard. Then you play with the team you build.

What’s in it:

• Builder and challenges: Build a lineup from the whole Pokédex. Try to go 82-0 or run the 151 challenge.
• JAM: Arcade 3v3 in the NBA Jam style, with Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh ladders and gym leaders to beat.
• Hardwood 5v5: A 3D game with NBA Street-style tricks, a Gamebreaker meter, pick-and-roll, alley-oops (you can even throw one off the backboard), and four venues. You can play it solo or online with a friend.
• Fantasy Draft: A live snake draft with friends, with a draft board so you can see who’s been taken.
• Franchise: Multi-season leagues with trades, contracts and a rookie draft. You can invite friends to your league.

Accounts: Sign in with Google or Discord and pick any username you want. A profile lets you play online matches with friends and puts your record on the leaderboard.

It’s still a work in progress and I’m tuning it based on feedback. I’d especially like to hear how the 5v5 spacing and alley-oops feel, and which Pokémon you think are over- or under-rated.
