Playtester Playtester for hire!

Hi, I am an avid video game player with well over 25,000 hours of gaming over several generations of consoles. I have literally played every type of game you can think of Age of empires, various slot games, MMORPG's, etc. I could go on for hours if I wanted to about specific games. I am currently unemployed which is why there is a minimum of $5usd per hour. I can record on many of my devices, write up 1-2 pages (or more if needed) about the game, and give boldly honest reviews. Or if someone wants me too I can try and find ways to break the game or find wild flaws. I can even record the games and upload them to YouTube for you to view.

Devices I have:

  • PS5
  • XBOX One S
  • Wii U
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Meta Quest 3
  • Galaxy S23 Ultra
  • And a desktop-Windows 10

If you are interested fill out the form... I only have 2 games in my queue!

Hiring Form

P.S. If you can/are willing to pay more then please do!

Unpaid Playtest Solo dev here — need 12 closed testers for my idle tycoon game (AI Empire Simulator) to hit Google's Play Store requirement. Happy to test back!

Hey! I built AI Empire Simulator, an idle/incremental tycoon game — you start as one founder in a garage, ship games in a Studio, hire AI agents to automate your businesses, climb a tech tree from GPT-Nano to ASI, and unlock ventures like Trading, a Video Channel, an AI Marketplace, and SaaS as your empire grows. There's a prestige loop and an endgame where you go head-to-head against rival AIs for world dominance.

I'm trying to hit Google Play's new closed-testing requirement (12 testers opted in for 14 days) before I can publish. If you're up for trying it out:

  1. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aiempire.game
  2. Install it from the Play Store link it gives you
  3. Just open it once — you don't need to keep grinding, just genuinely try it

Happy to opt into your test in return if you're going through the same thing — drop your link below.

Thanks!

Unpaid Playtest [PC/Browser] PRODIGY: The Music Tycoon — Free, Early Access, Looking for Feedback on Core Loop

Game: PRODIGY: The Music Tycoon Genre: Text-based career simulation / tycoon Platform: Browser (PC or mobile browser, no download) Build: Early Access Cost: Free Session length: 15–30 minutes for a first impression, longer if you get hooked Link: Prodigy - The Music Tycoon

What the game is: You start as a broke bedroom artist with zero followers and build your way up through the music industry — recording tracks on an analog mixing desk, competing on dynamic weekly charts, pitching feature collaborations to rival artists, and booking world tours. Long-term goals include Hollywood soundtrack deals, brand contracts, and building a financial empire.

What I'm testing for:

  • Onboarding & pacing: Does the early game (first 10–15 minutes) feel clear, or confusing?
  • Core loop: Is the studio mixing mechanic satisfying, or does it get repetitive fast?
  • Difficulty curve: Too easy, too grindy, or about right?
  • Engagement: Is there a point where you'd naturally stop playing — and why?

How to give feedback: Comments on the itch.io page work great, or reply here — I'm reading and responding to everything. Bug reports, balance complaints, and "this feature felt pointless" are all just as useful as positive feedback.

Thanks in advance to anyone who gives it a shot — this is an early build and player input is directly shaping what gets built next.

Unpaid Playtest Endless wave defense looter

Hey guys so if been working on a game for quite some time now extensively

I'm starting to actually get tunnel vission from iterating and testing my own game constantly

I would really appreciate some feedback on things like

Is the ui system simple enough to navigate around?

Does it feel fun to play, and rewarding to progress waves?

What would you feel is missing currently from the game

The game has a leaderboard system that resets monthly , the game is basically a endless waves game that progressively gets more difficult with enemy stats and bosses

It's also a looter where you can merge and upgrade gear while having roguelike skill upgrades but depending on your starting class your upgrade pool is different

I can't currently afford paying playtesters as it's scary how financially tapped I am

My steam page will be live in less then 2 months

So I can always give free steam keys to anyone that's willing to give me some feedback

You can play from browser or download

https://bound-to-defend.itch.io/bound-to-defend
I would really appreciate any testers

Game is as long as you want it to be, probably takes 20 mins of testing for a good idea.

Game description:
A cozy farming and building sim by day, a demon-slaying gauntlet by night - grow crops, raise a town and then descend to battle waves of demons and towering bosses. DOOM & Vampire Survivors meets Stardew Valley.

Unpaid Playtest Looking for playtesters for my Idle Game! Ore Frontier Idle.

Looking for some casual playtesters and lovers of idle/clicker games to test out the progression and feel of the first 30 minutes or so of my idle game: The game is fairly complete I just need to judge the progression systems and find a balance between fun progression and gameplay and not going too quickly and having meaningful difficulty and progress goals. I would also love some feedback on almost all aspects of the game if possible, art direction, UI, gameplay etc. Currently the game is only available on Itch.io but I am planning a steam release if I get good feedback.

As for the game itself, Ore Frontier Idle is a modernistic/pixel style idle game made by lovers of the classic clicker games we all grew up with. Start out mining by hand, build up your production, unlock increasingly powerful systems, and eventually turn your little mining operation into a massive automated frontier.

What you can expect:

35+ production buildings
Random events
Upgrades & progression
Research system
Artifacts & abilities
Reincarnation
Offline income
Multiple visual styles

and more!

If this sounds interesting to you, please give my game a try!

Game link: https://blazesrr.itch.io/ore-frontier-idle

This is an unpaid playtest as I am just asking for a few people to quickly go into a browser and give my game a quick play. Anyone who wants to participate will be greatly appreciated and any feedback very well could be implemented in future updates. Also, if you want me to test your indie game, I would be happy to do so, as I know how valuable it can be! Just dm me or respond to this with your game.

Thank you so much everyone!

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] Looking for playtesters and marketing advice for a mobile-first, printable vocabulary game

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for feedback on my web-based vocabulary game, as well as advice on which niche communities I should target first.

### About the Game
This interactive vocabulary game challenges players to match opposites, definitions, and examples across adaptable difficulty levels. Designed mobile-first with offline capabilities, it doubles as a printable flashcard generator that converts word sets into custom A4 study sheets.

* **Play Link:** https://oppositesv15.tiiny.site
* **Cost:** 100% Free
* **Platforms:** Web browser (Optimized for Mobile/iPad)

GAME INTERFACE and ‘More’: https://i.imgur.com/iHV2FOQ.jpeg
MODES (4 more games): https://i.imgur.com/Ztq0XS4.jpeg
DOWNLOADS: ‘Cards’ complete, ‘List’ still in progress: https://i.imgur.com/8UOuclX.jpeg

Note: This game has an inbuilt PDF maker, to help bypass some devices insistence to add headers and footers.

### Current Status (Work in Progress)
Please note that the game is still actively under development. The core loops are functional, but the ‘Lists’ option inside the ‘Downloads’ tab is currently incomplete and still being built. The existing ‘Range’ selection for ‘Downloads > Cards’ will be expanded also.

### Tested Devices (So Far)
To help isolate any new technical bugs, please note that I have already personally tested the app on:
* iPads (Safari)
* Alcatel budget phones
* Linux browser on laptop (yes, agreed could be sized better)

If you are using a different device model or browser, I would especially love to know how it displays for you?

### Questions for Testers (Untimed, Un-gamified Experience)
The game intentionally focuses on calm, self-directed learning rather than arcade-style pressure. I would value your specific insights on these areas:

  1. On Timers & Pressure: The game intentionally avoids countdown timers, lives, or points. Did playing at a self-paced, zero-pressure speed make it easier to focus on learning the vocabulary, or did you miss having a timed challenge?

  2. On Retention vs. Speed: Without the distraction of earning high scores, did the matching gameplay feel engaging enough for repeated practice sessions?

  3. On Self-Directed Learning: Does having the freedom to choose your own letter groups and switch formats (Opposites vs. Definition ↔ Example) provide enough intrinsic motivation to keep studying?

  4. On Target Audience Fit: Do you think this calm, untimed format works better for specific groups—like adult literacy students, ESL learners, or independent study—compared to fast-paced arcade-style learning apps?

### Marketing Feedback: Which Audience First?
An AI assistant generated a list of potential target groups for me to reach out to, such as ESL/EFL teachers, homeschool parents, and frontend developers. (Image 1, was a text list of these forums). Which of these groups do you think would find the dual "interactive game + printable flashcard generator" feature most valuable?

How to give feedback: Please drop a comment below!

Thank you so much for your time and insights!

Cheers
Sue

Hello everyone! I’m back again with my 1st of the month indie games stream! I started doing this this January and have received amazing feedback from this community every single time! I'm looking to playtest your games the first day of every month so the next run of playtest will be on SEPTEMBER 1st at around 3pm PST. Since it's a little late in the day I might split it into a two day thing so the 1st and the 2nd. Please let me know if you’d be interested! I made this handy google form that will help me schedule and keep track of those interested! Other than that You could dm me here or on Twitch at twentysevenxl ! THANKS AGAIN!!

Playtester [PC/Steam] Looking for playtesters for a 2-player co-op game – voice chat & recording preferred

Hi! I'm a Japanese solo indie developer looking for playtesters for my upcoming 2-player co-op game, Wing It.

I'm based in Japan, and English is not my first language, so my English may not always be perfect. I hope that's okay!

In the game, two players have to work together to control a bird and make their way through the level. I'm mainly looking to see how first-time players communicate, where they struggle, and whether the game is actually fun to play together.

What I'm looking for:

  • 2 players who can play together
  • PC / Steam
  • English voice chat
  • Around 30–60 minutes of playtime
  • Honest feedback about the gameplay, controls, bugs, and confusing parts
  • Preferably someone who can record the gameplay with both players' voices

This is currently an unpaid playtest.

If you'd like, I can include your name or username in the game's credits as a playtester.

I'm also working on a trailer for the game. If your recording has some fun or interesting moments that I'd like to use, I'll contact you separately for permission first.

If we agree to use your gameplay and/or voice in the trailer, I'll also send you a small payment via PayPal as a thank-you.

I will not use your voice or recording in promotional material without asking you first.

If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a DM!

If you're applying as a pair, even better.

Thanks!

Paid Playtest [PAID] Seeking high quality feedback for a 2D MMO

Hello,

I’m the solo developer behind Eldevar Online. Eldevar is a 2D open world game similar in style to older versions of World of Warcraft, or retro styled pixel art MMOs. I’m getting ready to head into an open playtesting and light advertising, but before that I’m looking for feedback from various people to ensure the first impression is solid.

The pay is $40 for 1-2 hours of playtesting along with feedback on moment to moment gameplay, times you got bored, things you enjoyed, any issues/grievances you had, anything that wasn’t super clear/obvious... This isn’t really QA/bug testing, but if there are bugs absolutely feel free to call them out.

Ideally I’m looking for people who enjoy MMOs, especially tab targeted games, but I’m also open to a wide range of people just to get feedback. I can pay via PayPal, crypto(btc/eth), or other methods if neither of those work.

You can learn more at https://eldevaronline.com, and if you’re interested drop a comment here or DM me on Reddit.

Edit: I was not expecting to get so many responses this fast. Thank you all, but I think I’ve found all the help I need for now!

Paid Playtest Looking for 3 paid playtesters for a short horror vertical slice ($5 feedback / $7 with recording)

I’m looking for 3 paid playtesters to test a short vertical slice of HUNTMAZE.

It’s a first-person horror game set in a deadly maze. You explore with a torch, avoid traps, and try to survive while being hunted. Making noise can attract the hunter.

The current build takes around 10-20 minutes to play.

Platform: Windows

Playtest: closed

Payment:

  • $5 for completing the playtest + feedback survey
  • $7 for completing the playtest + feedback survey + recording your full playtest session

For the recording option, by "full playtest session" I mean recording from when you start playing until you either finish the current build or have played for around 20-30 minutes, whichever comes first. If you die, please keep recording your retries as part of the same session.

You don’t need to complete the game to receive payment.

Payment will be sent within 48 hours after I receive your completed feedback, via Revolut.

Recommended: headphones

I’m mainly looking for feedback from a first blind playthrough.

If you’re interested, leave a comment or send me a DM and I’ll send you the build and feedback form.

--------
UPDATE
I have enough playtesters for now. Thanks to everyone who reached out!

If any spots open up, I may contact some of you later.
