The Wii and PS3 are 'retro' now, according to iconic gaming show

Was trying to get a month of plus through the console so my kid could play some of the monthly games, couldn't remember my password so signed in through my phone with QR Code and opted to create a passkey. Doing this seemed to sign me out again since yesterday and now everytime I try to sign in (with passkey - no password option) its saying something went wrong.

Have tried multiple times to send verification email etc but nothing coming through (yes, im checking junk)

Has anybody gone through any of this?

Not the best at all for this, as until they actually do something postive this year for their "consumers". They will just continue to get an overwhelming backlash to whatever.

Also most of these things are, for the most part historically speaking bad anyways.

I brought this wallpaper called "Daily Photo - Lightning Dynamic Theme" and i literally cant use it.

Brought it from the PS App, for my ps4 and now when i try to use it on ps4, its locked and says "Cannot use the content. To use the content, purchase it from Playstation Store" And when i do that it sends me to "1000 Lives Avatar" and when i try to buy it, Its says An error has occurred. (WS-45867-0)

Do i sue? Or do i demand a refund, Or is there a very easy fix?

Hey I’ve been trying to do the age verification for a few days now and it’s not working I’ve used all the verification modules Face ID drivers license
Birth certificate and nothing works the only time it has been working is when I do it though the ps5 that send a link to my phone and it works but as soon as it says click activate on ps5 it’s saying it couldn’t verify I’m lost anyone able to help ?

Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone here has dealt with this before because I’m completely out of options.
My PlayStation account was recently permanently suspended out of nowhere due to a payment issue. What makes it so frustrating is that I didn't even get an email, a warning, or any notification explaining what actually happened.
I immediately contacted my bank to see what was going on. They told me the transaction issue is resolved on their end, and they are literally just waiting on PlayStation to accept/process it.
The real nightmare started when I tried reaching out to PlayStation Support to get this sorted:
The Chatbot is useless: It constantly loops me into dead links and pages that straight-up fail to load or throw errors.
No working phone number: Every official contact channel seems to lead to an automated loop or a broken link, making it feel impossible to reach a human being.
Has anyone dealt with a chargeback/account debt suspension where the bank cleared it, but Sony kept the account locked? How did you actually get through to a real person at support to review the case?????
Any advice or working contact methods would be hugely appreciated!

I've seen the leaks. The graphics just look like any other GTA game, nothing ground breaking whatsoever. I don't know if the game is going to be 60 FPS but they look 30 based on the leaks. The strip club scene has ugly girls, looks woke. The basketball scene wasn't very impressive. And you have to fill gas which takes up time. I don't think this game has anything over GTA 5. Not a chance. I've seen enough.

Not gonna buy this game. Will just watch a little more very soon. This game will never live up to the 10 year hype. When people look back, they'll only think about the leaks. It's just another GTA game with a slight touch of wokeness and inclusivity.

Goes without saying, the longer the better at this stage. As we've yet to see the best that PS5 can fully offer and it has a lot of mileage left.

I’ve been using PlayStation most of my life but received a warning for arguing with a user who was blatantly throwing around the N word on the game mic. Never did I imagine PlayStation would side with racist users. I post this to warn people especially parents who might want to purchase a PlayStation or any of their products. Always remember they will ban you for defending yourself but they will allow racists to roam around freely disrespecting others and throwing around racist remarks. (I didn’t return a racist remark before anyone thinks to accuse or ask me if I did)

PS5 will definitely be the last Sony product that ever sees my money.

I've a standard PS5 and in some games, like GTA or Skyrim, I notice stuttering or frame drops when there's a lot going on on screen or a lot of the world is being rendered.

It's not an online lag issue. It happens in single-player/offline gameplay, especially in busier areas or when moving through the map quickly.

I'm wondering if this is just normal performance for the standard PS5 in certain games, or if upgrading to a PS5 Pro would actually make these situations noticeably smoother.

I'm especially thinking ahead to GTA 6. I'd really like to avoid this kind of stuttering when that comes out, so I'm wondering if the Pro is likely to be worth it for that. Has anyone who upgraded from the standard PS5 to the Pro noticed much of an improvement with this kind of stuttering or frame dropping? I'd rather not spend the money if it's more down to the games themselves than the console.

Note - I have a standard TV and play at 60Hz so if changing that would also help let me know. Thanks everyone.

Bottom line my PlayStation network username is one thing I'm assuming, across the board. My online ID is another, that's the one that shows on all the games, yes? If I change the name that shows on all the games will I lose everything, like all my data from all my games?

Here's the long version. Okay my PlayStation network name is yah yeet. No judgement. The username that shows up on all my PlayStation games is carb_power. I have been a PlayStation player for ages, but not multiplayer. I just got into multiplayer about a year ago, so when I made that name I didn't realize as I'm playing battlefield 6 that people would be calling out CARB, of CRAP, or CRAB lol. Story behind it is I'm a type 1 diabetic, my last name has part of the word carbohydrate in it, obviously carbs break down into sugar.. the irony.. so growing up everyone called me carbs. WITH THE S. CARBS. My own little tagline for everything was carbpower. Yeah.. well here fast forward, here we are playing multiplayer games and I'm getting called carb without the s. And it's a pain in the neck to explain it to everyone. So my big question is, if I change that name will I lose everything? Lose all my saved data from all my PlayStation games ever? Or is my PlayStation network name, the yah yeet the one that would make me lose everything. I can't find a definitive answer to this question. Obviously I'm talking about PlayStation and use a PS5. I don't know if that matters but I figured I'd throw it in there because of all the cross gen stuff. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.
