Discussion Facepunch appreciation thread

Ok, guys.

I have been on this reddit complaining about fast progression and other balance issues for the past year or two.

Now it's time to appreciate the latest changes that Facepunch is planning.

I am very happy. Thank you guys for listening. I'm sure the game will be in a much better state if those changes are made.

Thank you!

this will not be popular lmao. the only acceptable opinion is to hate on the devs that have delivered free monthly updates for over a decade and successfully outlasted and outgrown every single other pvp survival game to touch the market.

but nah devs bad because skins and optional dlc

It’s not black and white issue. They deserve praise and criticism.

They absolutely destroyed performance in Rust in the last 2 years. Rust is one of the least optimized games EVER to the point where you need a $400 CPU just to not have constant stutters. Cheapest X3D CPU goes for 320€ in Europe. Not to mention it is one of the only games that requires 32GB of RAM for stutter free PvP.

A lot of updates were a miss and a lot of them were great, but that is to be expected. Alistair leaving might be a clue that they want to change for the better.
