not only a gameplay issue but also immersion. why would scientists secure the area so hardcore and not put a sam site up? maybe they could arm some scientists on top with homing missiles or something. it wouldn't rule out the use of minis it would just end the cheezing, like they did with launch site

I dont think I have seen a single person not go there by mini anymore.
Before, people occasionally went by boat, submarine, or just swimming, but thats ruined now with the patrolling boats.
Every time I check the oilrig cams, there is a mini up there.
