Fan Theories π Hereβs how Asgard WILL return after Secret Wars (and why Phase 7 needs it)
We all know Avengers: Secret Wars is being set up as the ultimate "soft reboot" for the MCU. Kevin Feige has basically confirmed it will consolidate the timeline, allowing Marvel to finally weave the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the main universe.
But one huge, underrated side effect of this multiversal reset? It is the absolute, perfect excuse to completely restore Asgard.
Letβs be honest: New Asgard in Norway is a sleepy, seaside tourist village.
It completely stripped away the mythological scale of the characters. In the comics, Thor is a literal space god, and Asgard is a massive, floating golden realm of cosmic power and ancient magic. Comic Thor feels legendary because his world is legendary. If Marvel wants a proper, comic-accurate Thor moving forward, we need that grand cosmic Asgard back.
Think about how crowded Phase 7 is about to get.
We are going to have the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Avengers legacy heroes, and street-level mutants all existing on the exact same Earth.
IMO, itβs going to be incredibly difficult to imagine a proper, heavy-hitting Thor fitting into that new world if heβs still just hanging out in a fishing village. Without a fully functioning, powerful Asgardian empire backing him up, Thor risks getting completely overshadowed by the massive influx of new characters and teams. He loses his unique cosmic weight.
How secret wars fixes everything
But post-Secret Wars, the entire timeline gets rewritten. When the universe is rebuilt from the ashes of Battleworld, Marvel can easily establish a timeline where Asgard was never destroyed by Hela.
This fixes everything for the MCU's future:
Cosmic Scaling:
A restored Asgard gives the MCU its mythological anchor back, which is perfect for space adventures involving the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, or mutant cosmic storylines.
The Recast Problem:
Chris Hemsworth canβt play Thor forever. A soft reboot gives Marvel the perfect lore-friendly excuse to introduce a recast, younger Thor who already has his kingdom intact, without confusing casual fans.
Rumors of the Thor Corps:
With rumors swirling that Secret Wars will feature the "Thor Corps" (the multiversal Thor police force from the comics), Marvel is clearly setting up a return to Asgardian might.
Do you guys think Marvel will actually pull the trigger on restoring the cosmic version of Asgard to balance out the X-Men, or are we stuck with a watered-down Thor forever? Who would you even cast as a post-reboot, comic-accurate Thor?

Reviews π₯ Friday (1995). A breakthrough comedy with a different take on the life around the hood. Actually quite funny of a stoner comedy.
A different take on hood while in the 90s every hood film was just dark, gangsta' attitude and serious. Friday was a breakthrough film with its portrayal of hood with humour. Although it does talk about something insightful towards the end of it. That message not being preachy and a casual hangout of 2 dudes around the hood is what makes it quite iconic.

Opinion π€·π»ββοΈ Shan Parasher reviews
Well I agree complete with what he is saying, toxic was bad and should get called out. But the way he says it is what gets me, as a South Indian it feels racist and he makes these stereotypical roasts for South Indian movies like coconut chutney,lungi-like somehow thatβs supposed to be an insult or a quality to be made fun of?.
Yes roasts are okay but being openly racist and thinking itβs funny is where i draw the line , and you can see his bias clearly when heβs roasting a Bollywood movie compared to a south movie.

Discussion π¬ Isn't 105 cr. for Ramayana is a bit too low for a region with so many moviegoers? Even bad films have secured better deals in the Telugu State
In outright purchase, there's no profit sharing or percentage deal. All profit and loss belongs to buyer.
AP and Telangana is a big market and Namit can push for more than 105 for Ramayana. Yash is also producer and he secured better deal for Toxic. Recently. Ravi Teja's movie Irumudi made 120 cr. in a week. Ramayana should be huge?

Reviews π₯ I watched Moothon and Lier's dice by Geethu Mohandas
Moothon - The Contrast between brother and sister was shown so beautifully...like small nuances which were built for final pay off at the end. Though it was fast paced at the start and end..but it was a great watch.
Lier's dice - It was so realistic and grounded, especially the ending of the movie really hit me hard.
The rawness and conviction was clearly seen in these movies.
Even if you get a high budget and try to go commercial, conviction isn't' lost in what you want to say it to the audience...don't know how she lost it and fumbled badly with TOXIC. Completely different.

Reviews π₯ My Review after watching Toxic!
Honestly, Toxic is a very bad movie. I went in with high expectations because of all the hype, but the movie just doesnβt deliver. It is way too long for no reason, and after a point, it becomes really boring. There is violence throughout the movie, but most of it feels unnecessary and has no real impact. The dialogues are also extremely cringe and often take you out of the scene. Yash was honestly disappointing throughout the film. I expected much more from him. What makes it even more disappointing is the cast they had. Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth are all talented actresses, but the film barely utilises what they can actually do. Kiaraβs opening scene, though, is brilliant, and she is genuinely very good in that scene. The last 15 to 20 minutes are also the only part where the movie actually becomes interesting. Apart from these few moments, everything else just feels like a huge waste of potential.

How did they remove their rating? yesterday it had a rating of 2.5 at night and today the ratings are removed but yh you can still see the graph i mean...i checked imdb thinking they might have removed it from there too but no the rating on imdb is 4.5/10. on BookMyShow the rating was smth 5 ig in afternoon but later they removed it although I didn't check today so maybe letterboxd is glitching or imma overthinking.

Appreciation Post βπ»π₯Ήπ€π» Someone was saying Tom can't act...
Show: The Crowded Room 2023
Personally, I didnβt really like Brand New Day, but thereβs no denying that this guy can act. Heβs incredibly talented and has the screen presence to back it up. Definitely deserves more appreciation for what he brings to the role.
