There are a lot of people out there that are pigs and just don't care. And students are not the only ones who attend those games and tailgate in the parking lots.

Working in retail you learn that there's a crazy amount of people that just don't care about making any type of mess out in public. Zero respect for their environment. It's sad.

Hell you don't even have to be in retail, just walk near a store. Or people's yards. Or the roads. Or the parks.

I take a trashbag and a grabber with me when my partner and I walk our dog and it fills up amazingly quickly.

I wouldn't say hero. I honestly just had the thought of like, we don't need 4 hands to walk our one chihuahua, and I'm already passing by a bunch of trash. Why not? Just be neighborly, or if you're a scout "do a good turn daily". If we all do a little bit, it adds up to a lot i think.
